Symposium is one of the worst from pseudo-plato.

Why don't we take a gay science from Nietzche? It's rather hilarious at it's best and you can read it in many ways, involving more or less effort. Also available in reasonably good translation as a PDF (ok, leave the introduction aside and skip the fucking prelude in german rhymes).
