893093 I'll be joining for a day on the 29th! I've got one more book to read before the end of the month, and I only started today... So no challenges this time, wompwomp, but I think this will be a perfect opportunity to help make sure I meet my monthly goal!

893093 Ok so here is my TBR for this readathon. Some of the books I have already started but plan to finish during this so yay!

Demons on the Dalton (Hell Holes #2) by Donald Firesmith (this is also takes care of the short book challenge)
Then I'll be moving on to Threshold by Patricia J. Anderson (which is also kind of a short book)
Finishing Siege and Storm (Shadow and Bone, #2) by Leigh Bardugo
Once I'm done with that I'll be tackling the debut challenge with Reactive (The Elite Trials #1) by Becky Moynihan (it also has trees on the cover, so double whammy on the challenges!

I am trying to get 15k more words in my WIP before the end of the month so I'm trying to be realistic with what I think I can finish/handle this readathon since I can't go the whole time... But good luck everyone!

Progress:
July 15: Demon's on the Dalton - 35 pages
Siege and Storm - 66 pages: FINISHED!
July 16: Demon's on the Dalton - 21 pages
Reactive - 13 pages. It wasn't a strong reading day for me, but it was for writing, so, yay?
July 17: Reactive - 39 pages
Demon's on the Dalton - 35 pages
July 18: Demon's on the Dalton - 40 pages AND DONE!
Reactive - 11
July 19: Threshold - 47 pages (I'm guesstimating, the mobi copy the author gave doesn't track chapters properly, or have page numbers... BUT this book is just under 200 pages, so another short read challenge!)
Reactive - 45 pages
July 20: Threshold - 18 pages
Reactive - 11 pages
Another not fabulous reading day...
July 21: Threshold - 9 pages
Reactive -

893093 I'm In! I'll definitely be doing the first two challenges, as well. Maybe the tree one, but we'll see!

893093 Alright, I'm in! I have a few books I'm trying to push through and finish this month, so hopefully this'll help motivate me. I may not be able to participate all 5 days... But I'm going to pick at LEAST (maybe more) one day where it's all reading. Here's the TBR!

Picture Us in the Light by Kelly Loy Gilbert (pastel and bright colors on the cover challenge!)
Sophie Last Seen by Marlene Adelstein
Curses of Scale by S.D. Reeves
Starry Messenger (Opportvnvs Adest, #1) by Ethan Howard
Saga, Vol. 8 by Brian K. Vaughan (I'm hoping this makes me laugh? Smile at the least!)

893093 Alas, I can't participate this time around friends. Deadlines call as I am working on having edits back to my publisher for one of my books. Happy reading, wonderful people! <3

893093 Ok FINAL page count for this readathon including the challenges! Not super great, but progress was made and that's the important part, right?
Saga, Vol. 7 by Brian K. Vaughan : Finished! Short read challenge (graphic novel) for a total of 152 pages
The Best Possible Angle by Lloyd Johnson : POC challenge, read 81 pages. Very close to finishing, maybe an hour more would have done it?
Head Over Feet in Love by Patti Smith : read a total 76 pages.
Lycopolis by Ali Luke : made more progress here so total pages read for this book is now 46
Total pages read: 355

893093 Ok page count for this readathon including challenge progress!
Saga, Vol. 7 by Brian K. Vaughan : Finished! Short read challenge (graphic novel) for a total of 152 pages
The Best Possible Angle by Lloyd Johnson : POC challenge, read 63 pages. Almost done but couldn't quite get over that hump... all the characters are pretty irredeemable so this is hard for me to read a lot of...
Head Over Feet in Love by Patti Smith : read an additional 55 pages. Also a bit tough to read, while sweet, the mental health topics tend to be a bit heavy for long sprints
Lycopolis by Ali Luke : managed to start this one just before the end of the readathon! Only got 22 pages in though...
Total pages read so far: 293

893093 Update: Finished Saga, Vol. 7 by Brian K. Vaughan
So now I'm starting Lycopolis by Ali Luke
Still have a few hours left so I'll get a firm page count tomorrow, but read about 40 more pages in The Best Possible Angle as well, which I kind of hate... not the page count, but the book so that makes it hard. Ugh...

893093 I'm not doing well this readathon, friends... Only got about 40 pages in for Head Over Feet in Love. But hopefully I can make up for some of it today!

I plan on reading more in The Best Possible Angle where all the characters are POC and start/finish my short read (graphic novel) of Saga, Vol. 7.

Right?! I've ashamedly had this on my TBR for years as a book review request...

893093 I'm fairly positive I can't read all day during the readathon because life, but I do like to try and since I am so behind on book review requests, this tends to help me move that TBR pile along! Plus, I see your challenge of read something short and accept!

Current reads:
The Best Possible Angle by Lloyd Johnson
Head Over Feet in Love by Patti Smith

TBR:
Lycopolis by Ali Luke
Saga, Vol. 7 by Brian K. Vaughan (short read)

893093 Greetings everyone!

I'm Chelscey, but use my pen name C.E for my books because my mom decided she wasn't going to spell my name in an acceptable way (you say it Chelsea, I grew up with a lot of question marks at the end of my name when teachers read roll call). I write YA fantasy, contemporary family saga's with a touch of romance, and adult fantasy. Basically a lot of fierce, damaged characters live in my head. I'm going on 32, great white sharks are my spirit animal, I'm the mom of 3 rescued furbabies, and my hubs makes video games for a living (howdy to my fellow gamers!).

When I'm not writing, I'm usually reading as I have way too many book review requests I'm still getting through... And while I read most anything (except horror and erotica, no real reason for it either), my favorite genres are fantasy, science fiction, historical fiction, detective thrillers, and true crime (yeah, kind of all over the place). Pleasure to meet you all! Don't be shy in friending me if that's your jam!
