I'll try to read and many lgbtq books as I can this week, but it all depends on when my library holds come in.
June 2: Finished Her Royal Highness (a wlw book with a bisexual narrator) and read The Disasters (bisexual narrator and queer and trans woman main characters)
June 3: Read Stepsister which has soooooooo many quotable lines.
June 4: Read All the Wandering Light to finish out the duology (and i am very upset the series only has two books because I want more River/Kamzin adventures.
June 5: nothing. i binged Netflix instead lol

I LOVE THAT BOOK SO MUCH. TELL ME ALL OF YOUR THOUGHTS WHEN YOU FINISH!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

i just hit the 50% mark in Carry On and will (hopefully) finish it tomorrow.
my bestie adores this book so i've been sending her updates. it is pretty funny (dry and quirky humor which is My Brand™). i can't wait to share some of my fave quotes/scenes in my review.

i haven't heard that kaz and locke comparison before. besides the heist planning, and being great at conning people, i don't see a ton of similarities between the two. kaz always seemed cold to me, while locke is just having the time of his life. but it also has been awhile since i have reread THE LIES OF LOCKE LAMORA.
and YESSSSSSSSS. another aftg fan. i want to protect all of the foxes at all cost (except seth).

It's not a silly question! A buddy read is just when 2 or more people read the same book at the same time..."
Thank you!

-Gentleman Bastards by Scott Lynch
-Shade of Magic by VE Schwab
-The Shadow Game by Amanda Foody
-All for the Game by Nora Sakavic
-Warcross by Marie Lu
(wow. i had too look up most of these book's series titles. why did they all have to choose to be unique instead of go with the 2012 trend and name the series after the first book? lol)
Honorable Mentions (because only the first book is out, also the series titles may be officially called something different)
-The Gilded Wolves
-Ignite the Stars
-We Hunt the Flame
-Wicked Saints
-These Rebel Waves

I couldn't actually focus enough to just read one book (when anxiety is high I struggle to stay focused on a single book/station). So instead I spent two hours rereading my favorite parts of The Fever King and Ignite the Stars (but mostly Ignite the Stars because that banter is A++).

I'm D ☺️
I've been reading YA since I was 9 (because apparently I didn't realize MG was a thing? lol).
My favorite genres are fantasy and SF. I love books with queer characters and diverse casts with great villains and hilarious banter.
Some random stuff:
I love the color gray, sharks, and mint chocolate chip ice cream.
I'm also a college student so I'll try to participate as much as possible but when finals come around I'll drop off the face of the earth.
