895766 Any fans of classical music? My favourite composer is Stravinsky

895766 Rock and Roll is the best music genre.

Why Pentecostalism over every over denomination?

It probably wouldn't make much difference because if they had been aborted, you would never know them.

895766 You should always be learning about history. What have you been taught so far?

895766 How much do you guys know about history?

895766 Julian Assange is a freedom fighter who sacrificed his freedom. He has fought to inform people of the truth that is hidden from us. He spent nearly 7 years holed up in the Ecuadorian embassy in London. Now he is out, he's been sentenced to 50 weeks in prison for skipping bail. To put that in perspective, that's 2 weeks shy of a year. But this is probably a placeholder while they to deport him to the USA, where he will be tried for fighting for freedom.

895766 No I do not agree. History sometimes rhymes, but it does not repeat.

A Third World War is highly unlikely. Right now is the most peaceful time in human history, as the data has demonstrated. If there is going to be another major conflict on the scale of the world wars, it will be between China and the United States. Yet the likelihood is that they will have a new Cold War. Every war since 1945 has been localised and not global. Wars going on now have not spilled into global conflicts. Today, the world barely cares about Russia’s war in Ukraine, or the Saudi war in Yemen.
895766 I’m looking forward to the day when soldiers are replaced by drones.

895766 I believe that all the problems with social media are really problems in human nature. Social media has become another manifestation of our inherent flaws.

Flat Earth (6 new)

895766 There’s an excellent documentary on Netflix called Behind the Curve. It’s a fascinating look at the flat earth movement. Their beliefs are crazy, but they’re mostly harmless. Flat earth has always been a fringe belief.

People reject science in all sorts of areas. Vaccines, evolution, the climate, just to name a few. Anti-vaxxers are far more dangerous because that gets people sick and killed. At least flat earthers haven’t been responsible for any deaths.

895766 Would you ever tell someone that they should have been aborted? Is there any situation in which that would be justified?
