I like this book. I also like catching fire but I think this one shows more action than the other ones.

I agree with you. This book is a very humorous in the way in which it portrays the life of two brothers.

Lord of the Flies, by William Golding, is Nobel Prize winner in which a group of boys are stranded on an island and must work together to survive against the Beast. I recommend this book to those who like to read and like to know how the characters feel during their plot. This book is similar to the Outsiders, in (spoiler alert:)where one person dies, it creates problems between the characters. Other books by William Golding are Scorpion God, The Paper Men, and many other great books that I think will change your perception of civilization and will give you something to read about.

Messenger, by Lois Lowry, is a great book for young readers. It is a companion to the previous book, The Giver, and it is in chronological order. I think this book was about ones wanting. I other words selfishness because in the story one of the characters only cares for what he trades and what he gets. This book is similar to the Pearl, by John Steinbeck. These books share the theme of selfishness. The author of this book, Lois Lowry has received many awards including
the Newbery Medal. All in one, I think this is a great book and is a very good companion to the Giver.

Every book of the holocaust including personal stories are really sad in a way.

The book, “The Voyage of the Frog”, by Gary Paulsen is a fictive book about David Alspeth sailing through the Pacific with The Frog. I recommend this book to 13 years old and older because it is a really interesting book about survival and shows it in a really stupendous way. In my opinion this is a great book because it kept me wanting it to be longer. “Paulsen gives readers another wonderful survival story…Readers will have a real sense of participation and will be left hungry for more… Hard to put down”-The Horn Book. Other books by Paulsen are “The Crossing”, and “Hatchet” and has also been awarded with the Newberry Honor book author>

The book, "The White Mountains", by John Christopher is a sci fic book about mechanical robots known as tripods. I recommend this book to 13 years and older because it is interesting book but it requires a readers patience to understand it. In my opinion this book is an ok book because it made me put it down for a few days then to skip the beginning into the rest of the chapters. Other books in this trilogy are "The City of Gold and Lead", and "the Pool of Fire". This book reminds me of the book by H.G. Wells, "The War of the Worlds", but has a totally different plot. "A heart stopping odyssey of escape"-Newsday

"No blanket. On a corner. Somewhere. Didnt a body deserve a blanket? And a scrap of papaer: Call her Hollis Woods." Personally I would call her Hollis Wooods if that's where she swas found, anyway, Pictures of Hollis Woods, by Patricia Reilly Giff, is an amazing book fiiled with interesting events, and a satisfactory happy ending recommended to 12 year old or older to people who wabt to step into the shoes of Hollis Woods as she follows her destiny in this Newberry Honor Book. "Hollis woods is really a mountian of trouble."-Ms.Centanni. Patricia Reilly Giff has also written Eleven and Lily's Crossing. This book is similar to those who never know what is their purpose in life, and those who can never find their family. Will Hollis Woods ever find her destiny?

Good review Alex, but did the girl lose her family, or was it just her?

In the Year of the Boar and Jackie Robinson, by Bette Bao Lord, is a realistic fiction book that I recommend to all ages because it is one of the greatest children’s novels. This book is surprising because it tells you how many people from other parts of the world might feel like coming to America. Other books that the author has written are Spring Moon, Eight Moon, and Middle Heart. Bette Lord has won the American Book Award, and many degrees and many other awards as an author. What would you think if someday the US government elected a Woman as president?

Ender's Game is a Sci-Fi book that has won the Hugo and the Nebula awards. This book is recommended to 12- any other ages. It contains action and many conflicts that will make you want to read more. Orson S. Card is the author of many other sequels to Ender's Game, for example Speaker for the Dead, Xenocide, Children of the Mind. When I first read the book I understood 1/3 of it, the second time 2/3, and this third time 3/3. It took me 4-5 days to complete. So don't you want to imagine what our world will be in a few years?

Lone Wolf is a thrilling book that will keep you holding it until you finish the book. Kathryn Lasky is a Newbery Honor author that has written many fictional books, for example: The Night Journey, Beyond the Burning Time, and Sugaring Time. I would recommend the books to kids who like any type of fiction and are willing to have a story being told to them which would be eight to any other age. What would you do if your mother abandonded you in the middle of the river?

Are they all bones? Do they also live on earth, yet it still sounds fun to read.

Sounds stunning how someone brilliant like Einstein would use science to create nuclear weapons to put peoples life in danger.

The Last Dog on Earth, a Yearling Book written by Daniel Ehrenhaft, is a book which shows the many of peoples life through a story full of danger and friendship. This book can be read by anybody who is interest on what would happen if all dogs on earth had a virus. At first I found it boring, but as I understood the story, I realized how this book reflects on many teenagers like many of us. How would the world be with dogs biting your arms every second until you either get infected or die.

"The New York's Best Selling Novel, now in paperback"
"Shadow of the Hegemon is an ideal book with which to start your science fiction year."-Rocky Mountain Views.
Shadow of the Hegemon is a science fiction book, a sequel by many other books written by Orson Scott Card. Like Speaker for the Dead, and Ender's Game, this book will hook you until you finish reading it.

Sounds EXCITING.

I have heard really good "book commercials" about Bone.

Sounds like an interesting book.
