Have you ever felt that your talent has always failed you and it will never be important? "Goal 2: Living the Dream" by Robert Rigby shows an exciting yet romantic story of the sequel "Goal: The Dream Begins". In the story, Santiago continues his passion for soccer. Although this book has won no awards it has fascinated me in so many ways. I recommend this book to people ages 12 and up now that the content is a bit hard to understand later on in the story. Other books by this author are Goal: Glory Days. I would compare this book with The Hunger Games. It might sound kind of weird but in the story there was a moment when Santiago had competition and he had to be good in order to survive in Real Madrid. If you had the chance to join Real Madrid soccer team, would you join?

I agree that this book is really funny but I don't understand how this book will help you go through struggles with your older brother.

Iv'e also read this book and I really hope everybody has a chance to read it but other than that, I didn't like the ending of the book. (It was really sad though)

"But magic is neither good or evil. It is a tool, like a knife. Is a knife evil? Only if the wielder is evil"(Pg. 19 The House Of Hades) I was completely astonished with the ending of this book. All his books have a surprising cliff-hanger you cant resist but i love it. Even though his books still haven't won any awards, it is still New York's #1 best-selling author. I recommend this to all kids 13+ because of the content. I would compare this book to The Mark of Athena because The Mark of Athena is more of a pt.1 version of The House of Hades. A same book by the same author i bet every Rick Riordan fan can't wait for is The Blood of Olympus that comes out Fall 2014. Would Percy and the crew be able to defeat Gaea, the Goddess of Earth?

The Mark of Athena by Rick Riordan is an extraordinary, adventurous, and cliffhanging book that you can not resist. Once you start you can never end. I recommend this boo to all kids and adults in love with Rick Riordan's amazing series, The Heroes of Olympus and Percy Jackson and the Olympians. This book has an awesome cliffhanger that proceeds to The House of Hades, also a book by Rick Riordan. This book has won no awards but is New York's #1 best-selling author. In my opinion, Rick Riordan should continue making fabulous books for everybody to read. I was amazed when Annabeth an Percy were sucked into Tartarus, spirit of the abyss. This book would best be compared to all of Rick Riordans books since they are all about action and adventure. "Terrifying dreams and enigmatic prophecies mean danger for seven teen demigods, but also good times for fans of The Heroes of Olympus series. Throughout the novel, the juxtaposition of humor and terror makes both aspects of the writing more vivid. The demigods use their wits and weapons skillfully in a string of encounters, and their insecurities make the characters all the more appealing. With a true storyteller's sense of pacing, Riordan creates another compelling adventure, right down to the cliff-hanger at the end. Stay tuned to volume four" says Booklist Online. Will you try out Rick Riordan's amazing series?

Veronica, i read this book 2 years ago and i still think its amazing. What I really like is that he meets that one girl from the book and he gets curiosity all of a sudden. Over all i really liked how he grew up to be mature of his parents death. Also, Caroline is another great and scary book by Neil Gaiman.

I agree with you Alex, this book is funny when Calvin is acting older even though he's not. But maybe the author, Bill Watterson, is trying to teach us a lesson through his comics that everybody has been through this face in life that we all feel like adults and have that one friend that's always provoking you to do the wrong things.

Suspence, drama, action, are part of this fascinating book, Forged by Fire. This book really had me interested to death. I recommend this book to teens that might have some same problems. Other books by this extraordinary author are Tears of a Tiger and Darkness before Dawn in its same series. This author has won awards for all three books. I would compare this book with Tears of a Tiger because they both lead to suicide. Some famous critic reviews by critics was “this prequel to Drapers Tears of a Tiger is a stark portrayal of a young man struggling to protect his little sister from a drug-addicted mother and an abusive father”. Some other famous quotes from this book were “If you don’t sit your stinking; useless butt back down in that shopping cart, I swear I’ll bust your greasy face in!” Another favorite quote from this book was “With the flames and fear behind them, Gerald and Angel rode together to the music of the sirens which had decorated their past and would forge their future.”hope you enjoy it.
