94676 We all know those books. The ones that every single person you encounter is banging on at you to read and tell you they're incredible, but when you do well...you just don't get it. For this month's post we want to hear your thoughts on hyped up books or series.

Which books and series have your friends been constantly reminding you to pick up and read?
Are there any books you've seen plastered over every media outlet in the past few months?
Have you picked up any of these hyped up books and really hated them? Or have you joined in the hype after you put it down?
Have you gotten to a point where you just won't read a book because you've heard far too much about it?
Are you guilty of over-hyping up a book and found your friends have been disappointed with them?

You don't need to answer every questions. These are just a few to get you thinking!

We'd need your thoughts and answers by November 15th! So leave your thoughts & comments below :)

94676 Our October group post is finding out what your 'Scariest Fictional Worlds' are to coincide with Halloween!

We want to hear about which fictional worlds & places you find terrifying, which cities filled with supernatural beings you just couldn't stand or which dystopian society you would hate to live in! However you'd like to interpret the topic we'd love to hear from you.

You can either post your answers as comments on here, Tweet us (@blog_bookshelf) or email bloggersbookshelf@gmail.com!

94676 Hi everyone!

Apologies for the radio silence on the group, we're starting to get back on track here on GoodReads and kicking back off with our September group post topic!

September marks the start of the back to school period, and whilst Erin and I's school days are long behind us we thought it'd be nice to reminisce on our favourite books from that time. So for this month we'd love to know what were your favourite books to read growing up? And why?

The books can come from your childhood or early teenage years?
They can be children's fairytales, cautionary moral stories, fiction and non-fiction?
There may even be ones you read at school or at your own leisure?
Maybe a teacher or your parents got you reading them?
Or maybe they were books that you bonded over with school friends?

We need a quick turnaround on this one, so we'd love to have your answers by 18th September, as the post will be going up on the 20th September.

94676 February's Group Post is titled 'I'll be spending Valentine's Day with...' and as the title suggest we wanna know which fictional book character you wish you could spend February 14th with!

Now this can be either a romantic day with a fictional character, OR alternatively let us know who you'd rather buddy up with for some anti-Valentines Day singleton antics!

Make sure to add on a little sentence why you'd want to spend the day with them and also an idea about what you'd get up to (keep it clean for those literary crushes though!)

For example:
You could have a romantic dinner and walk in the park with the dreamy Augustus Waters
OR a girl's night in binge watching America's Next Top Model with Hazel Grace Lancaster

Or both! It's up to you!

You've got a bit more time to get those entries in, we'll need them by February 12th! You can either comment your reply here, email them at bloggersbookshelf@gmail.com, or tweet us at @blog_bookshelf

Can't wait to see what you guys come up with :)

Best wishes,

94676 We're almost into December and the end of 2013, so we've got a nice easy topic to round out the year...

We want to know what your Favourite Reads of 2013 are!

Pretty self explanatory and should interesting to see what your answers are. So if you'd like to get involved just send us:

1. Your top 5 books you've read this year - they don't have to have been published this year, just the ones you've enjoyed most =)

2. A short sentence about why you loved it so much.

And that's it! We will need your replies by December 18th so get them in quick!
Can't wait to see all your answers!

94676 Hi everyone!

It's that time of month again and onto October's group post theme! We're heading into the spookiest month of the year with Halloween just around the corner. So in the spirit of all things scary we want to know all about your Favourite Fictional Villains.

Does a chill run down your spine every time someone mentions Sauron from Lord of the Rings?

Or would you have no hesitations to run a mile from Captain Hook?

Perhaps the White Witch of Narnia is still giving you nightmares?

They don't even need to be particularly scary looking!
Maybe Umbridge's tyrannical regime at Hogwarts makes your blood boil?
Or do you get hacked off at Caroline Bingley and George Wickham getting in the way of Elizabeth and Darcy's blossoming romance in Pride & Prejudice?

No matter what genre, let us know which villains from literature you love to hate, plus couple of lines explaining why.

For further inspiration check out the Telegraph's Top 50 Villains http://www.telegraph.co.uk/culture/bo...

We'll need a quick turnaround for this month, so we'd love your answers in by 16th October at the latest!
Leave your answers on here, tweet us your response (@blog_bookshelf) or email bloggersbookshelf@gmail.com
