I'm okay with a vampire dominating his progeny, or a small band of vampires operating by their own set of rules and expectations. But when things progress to an actual organized hierarchy for all vampires, I roll my eyes. I just don't think a lone vampire hunting and killing in, say, Los Angeles should be ruled by aristocratic bloodsuckers in Italy.

Vampires having rules/governments is something that really annoys me. I like the thought of vampires being lone monsters, or small blood thirty packs that roam across the country and do as they wish. They really shouldn't have to answer to anyone.

Starting May 30th I'll be running a series of promotions for all three installments of my vampire series, THE UNDEAD CHRONICLES. All three novels contain dark themes, extreme violence, gruesome horror and graphic sex. My vampires are essentially serial killers with fangs; monsters through and through. They definitely don't sparkle.

Hi everyone,
I'm a longtime horror fan, and love vampires. I've even written a couple of vampire books. I just found this group and thought I'd join. My favorite vampire books are Lost Souls, Interview With The Vampire, 'Salem's Lot, The Light at the End and Live Girls.

I really like this show. It's a great blend of Gothic horror characters, and I can't wait to see how they handle Dracula. If you want to check it out, the first episode is available on the official Penny Dreadful YouTube channel.
