Jenni, I really enjoyed "Fish in a Tree" but it's possible what you say is true. It's a pretty quick read, though! So even if it's not your favorite, it won't take up much of your time :)

Thanks for encouraging me to give this book a try. Although I can see a little of the stilted-ness the review refers to, it was actually a pretty good portrayal of how it feels to have dyslexia. I did feel the progress she made in the story seemed a little unrealistic, but I liked how it brings more awareness to this learning difference.
