Daisy I get that some of these are a little obscure so if anyone's confused about when these locations appear in the series or anything just leave a comment and I'll explain it. :)

I voted for the Ivy and Olivia's grandparents' house, as I love how regal and intricate the Transylvania locations are described to be. The palace and the academy are cool too, but as this is kind of the twins' home-away-from-home I guess I've just always had most affection for it. I also love Ivy's house, Aunt Rebecca's ranch, the Groves movie set and the Middle School - so many to choose from!

Sophie This is REALLY hard. My first thought was to go with the vampire shops where they met the holiday bat, (side note: I've forgotten how they got to the shops; was it via the Bloodmart, a shop in the mall or somewhere else? Does anyone remember?) but looking down this list that actually sounds so boring compared to so many places on the list you came up with Dais. Fantastic poll idea btw!

I love Ivy's house because of the grandness of it, particularly Charles' office and his architectural plans. I like to imagine there are secrets cupboards and other exciting things scattered around. Aunt Rebecca's ranch because it makes a nice change from all the dark and gloomy vampire locations, plus I love the countryside. The Franklin Grove cemetery and Brendan's family crypt because...vampires in graveyards. Why else? The movie sets because they were interesting and different, lots of new characters walking around. Mister Smoothie because it's fun and often ridiculous, a perfect place for plot changing conversations too! The Count and Countess's manor and The Royal Palace in Transylvania because they are beautiful and detailed and fun. Lots to explore there! I think I'll go with the Count and Countess' manor, although I do miss Brendan, Sophia and Camilla whenever Ivy and Olivia are there.

Daisy Oh, I forgot about where they went to see the Holiday Bat! I think it was underneath a clothes shop in the mall...? Actually I have the book with me so I'll check. OK, so it just says "Kruller's Department Store" (so it may be in the mall or not), and the vampire version underneath is Crueller's - love the name btw! Weird because I always imagined it to be an entire vamp shopping centre - not just one store. Though according to Brendan it's the "third-largest shopping destination in North America". I'll add it to the poll!

Oh my gosh I totally agree with all your reasons for the other locations! Particularly what you said about Ivy's house - yesss there must be secret passageways and hidden rooms all over the place, that would be so awesome. Shame they don't make use of that more in the books. There are so many awesome places in MSTV aren't there!? (Well, apart from the cornfield maybe, PLEASE SOMEONE VOTE FOR THAT lol)

Sophie Hmm, interesting. I also imagined lots of different shops and that the holiday bat would take place in the middle of all of them. I guess my imagination ran a bit wild reading that scene.

I'm not sure if I'm remembering correctly or not but didn't Charles have some sort of secret library or something where he hid his diary. It's been a while since I read that book (which ever one it was in. There is a reason you're the brains obviously!)
