It depends on what's bothering you whether it gets better or not. I found the short chapters off-putting; they made it difficult for me to get into the story, and that doesn't change. The characters are really interesting though, and the plot picks up some. It's definitely a book that's more about atmosphere and character than a lot of things happening though.

I just couldn't get into the storyline but I'm going to keep going and try to get it done. I really hate to dnf books but I was unsure if I should do it to All The Light We Cannot See so I made the poll. Thanks for your comment!😊

I got through most of it and really just did not enjoy it. The writing was drawn out, repetitive, and the story is just too long. I liked the premise but it could have been done better.

I am currently halfway through the book and I completely understand what you are saying. The story is just too long. There are many part that could be cut out. However I do like the plot it is interesting which is the only thing that is making me want to finish the book.
