I just got confused by a thread about The Long Way to a Small, Angry Planet which turned out to be in another goodreads group I'm in, lol. Anyway folks over there are recommending it: "optimistic and escapist, without being pure fluff or naive", "Lots of female characters and it's a lil queer too." I nominated the other book but will be happy to read either!

I kept forgetting to come post on here but I LOVED the Broken Earth series. I just finished the 3rd book today. And now I have a new author to devour....er....her BOOKS of course. ;)Happy to read either of these. :D
Voted for Removed only because I've already read The Long Way. It's fantastic though so will happily read again.
Looks like The Long Way is killing it! I notice it was also a Sword and Laser book like our last pick, did you read it for that Jen?
