It's being promoted elsewhere on a site asking people to randomly vote for this book. Frustrating. Our group read should not be used for PR purposes. It's not a competition. I added a comment to the site requesting people only vote if they're actually intending to join the group read.

Interesting. Explains a lot.
I voted for this book in the first round, voted for it again in the second round & legitimately wanted to read it, but this kind of manipulation now makes me not want to! I'd almost consider switching my vote but obviously that wouldn't change the current trajectory...

I voted for Rolls b/c think NTM & liked older MC setup. Nice change from most on my TR for next few wks.
(total aside, PM for this poll reminded me to check group notifs setting)

I suggest changing if one of the other three books appeal to you. We (the mods) are discussing how to handle this.
