Who chose these books? On what basis were they chosen?

I myself are actually reading through War and Peace at the moment, I just finished Part 1 of Book 1 and have a long, long way to go though it's certainly a riveting and truly magnificent book. I am more than convinced this early on.

So if you want some historic literature, why not add War and Peace? It will (a) piss of Fabian as he has a really busy schedule but seems fairly committed to this idea, (b) give you a great deal of enjoyment and (c) anyone around the world could get a copy of it, probably in their native language. Hell, why not?

Chris W Evropi they were chose by Sarah on the basis that she made a list of possible books. I think that is really the only reason haha. The poll is left open so new entries can be added by anyone so please feel free to add War and Peace the link to add stuff is at the bottom of the list I think.

never mind the adding bit I edited it in :)
