Just sayin' ... if the current trend continues (Deathless and Once and Future King neck and neck), I'm willing to switch my vote to Lord of Light, if there are others who are interested in that but not the current two top choices.

I've already voted for Lord of Light. This might be my excuse to finally read it.
Bleh, Lord of Light is so over-rated...IMHO of course. :)

I have The Once and Future King already on my Kindle waiting but I feel like voting for a smaller book. On the strength of a really good review I'm voting for Deathless.
Come on, The Once and Future King. Everytime its on a poll in any group, its just gets so close. I have faith that it might win herem but I know there are people that dislike the book because of the length and the old writing style.
Bought this book when is it was mentioned in a movie (cant remember which one Star Trek? X Men? ) Glad to finally have an excuse to bring it to the top of my to-read pile.
they had us read TOAFK in high school, and at the time i was super excited about it - finally, something like what i liked to read instead of more dickens & hardy! the first section is fun (what they based the Disney 'sword in the stone' on), but after that, huge slog.also, Catherynne M Valente's stories are extra super awesome, so 'Deathless' is a good idea!
TOaFK is the sloggiest of slogs, full of nonsense and idiocy.
If you've never read it and think, "hey, it's Arthur! It'll be good!" let me just say, NO. It's not.
It will make you want to inflict pain upon your friends and kick small animals. You will be forced to set fire to the book in a ritual involving chicken innards and absinthe just to wipe the taint from your mind.
Vote for something else if you care at all for your soul.

Heh. It's been a long time since I read OAFK. I don't remember it as being terrible but I do remember my reaction as being something like, "Enh, Arthurian."
