Hi all, I appologize if it wasn't clear in my nomination, but I wanted to nominate The Making of the Atomic Bomb by Richard Rhodes instead of Trinity: A Graphic History of the First Atomic Bomb. Since I have the power, I changed it in the poll. :)

Happy voting!

Nigeyb Macintyre and Waugh neck and neck. Exciting.

Susan Have read them both and they are both excellent books, so it's a win-win situation.

I'm not quite sure how we ended up with a minus vote but there you go!

Can you anti-vote? That would cause all sorts of complications!!

message 8: by Val (new)

Val I changed my vote because I was the only person voting for The Love-charm of Bombs: Restless Lives in the Second World War and I have already read it. Goodreads added one to the book I then voted for, but took two votes away from the original. I presume that it is some sort of Goodreads glitch, where it doesn't recognise zero unless you start there. Weird (and not mathematically correct).

Nigeyb Only one more day to go until our July discussion. I hope everyone is ready to read & discuss Operation Mincemeat: How a Dead Man and a Bizarre Plan Fooled the Nazis and Assured an Allied Victory.
