And at some point the argument will have run its course to the degree that no amount of feeding will be able to sustain it. And at that point, the fool is forced to declare that the death of the argument was the very thing that legitimized its existence. And in the end, the only thing that’s legitimized is the fact that the person who builds their life on a bunch of dead arguments is, in fact, a legitimate fool.”
