“God is the universe, and we are part of the universe, so we are part of God. God puts parts of itself into shells we call bodies or organisms, and it wants us to be part of a stage play we call life, for a reason only known to God. The stage play has been written by God, which is us. In other words, we have helped write the stage play we feature in. We take part in an infinite number of stage plays, when our bodies die we enter another stage play where the script has us playing a different character with a different life. If we do well in terms of karma and progress spiritually in one stage play or life, we can get a better or higher role in the next life. We forget our previous roles and characters in our previous life when we are born into our new life. Eventually it is possible to ascend, that is to transcend the role of a character in the stage plays and simply become an observer.”
