Steph | 13 comments Read The Claiming of Sleeping Beauty. It was good...intense. Definitely none of this pansy Fifty Shades...which I'm almost through with the series.

Mia (miapea) | 359 comments Hi, group. Thanks,Sammee, for the invite! I read Sleeping Beauty years ago when I was on an Anne Rice kick. I agree - nothing pansy about it. IT wasn't quite my fantasy, but I can get how it could be someone's fantasy. I want to read Carnival of Soul, too. Will think of other ideas.

I remember trying to read Sleeping Beauty when i was about 16 or 17 not knowing it was erotic fiction. I was so embarrassed reading it! I brought the book back to the book store and here I am now wanting to give it another go & let me freak flag fly or is it me unleashing my inner goddess.

By the way, those are just my suggestions, this is the time for you to toss in your suggestions then as a group we vote on all the books everyone suggest & the 1 with the most votes win.

Mia (miapea) | 359 comments Re: Sleeping Beauty, I'd recommend reading all three books because you actually do get to see some character development. I was younger when I read it, too, and pretty embarrassed. (Heck, maybe it is my fantasy but I'm in denial!) Freak/Goddess = same thing? Anyway, this is not the "Sleeping Beauty" discussion thread. :-)

I suppose when I'm more familiar with the site, I'll figure out how to see what you've read already. Still working it out. Has the group decided to read The Kill Order? I'd nominate that. The Kill Order

Okay, I think I figured out how to put the book photos into this comment thread. :-) Ironically, I just stumbled into The Shadow of the Wind yesterday at Three Lives and thought I'd suggest it, so it was cool to see that Janel put it up there!

Mia, we've all read the Maze Runner series so the kill order is a great suggestion.
