SciFi and Fantasy Book Club discussion

The time has come, I'm afraid, for me to step away from the SciFi and Fantasy Book Club. I've been at it for a long time now, and I've just lost the passion I once had. I find I don't have the energy to keep up with the discussions anymore, and more often than not I am reading something that the group isn't, and I have an increasingly difficult time keeping up with the group reads.

I'm going to miss being such a huge part of the group, but I can't imagine staying away completely. I'm sure I'll be popping in all the time.

I leave you in the capable hands of Denae and Kim, but if there is someone else out there who would like to give our Czars a hand, I urge you to step up offer your help. The more hands and fresh energy the better.

As Denae says you will be missed. You've done so much great work for this club and it's sad to see you going.

Brad, you put so much time in, it was a truly tremendous effort. You took the reigns Nick gave you and steared the bucking bronco so well, you helped solidify one of the best book group on Goodreads, bar none. It has the best combination of organized activities to follow every month that (A) allow for input but provide structure and a great way to discover new books and new friends through the organized group reads each month, and (B) more casual connections through the members chats & various other discussions. It's really a terrific group that all of the leaders and members should be proud off. I've always been made to feel welcome on the occasions when I've been able to join a groups read, never been made to feel excluded because I haven't been able to participate more. The members have all be thoughtful about their responses and fun to play with. And a lot of that comes from the tone set at the top. So thank you Brad, for all of your work. I hope to see you around here in the group discussions when you get the chance. And good luck with everything you pursue in your life, if they're as successful as this you should be off on the right foot for sure <3

I sympathize with your reasons, as I, too, have not read a book selection for this group in months. I pop in when I can.
