Turkish Reading Challenges discussion

Before starting the challenges we would wait for minimum 10 active users.

After we achieve active user limit, than we can choose the books for challenge.

List and Shelf can be a good place for selecting the books. Maybe we can select top 10 books (combining the list and the shelf), and vote on them to choose which of them will be challenged first.

Hi Pınar. There could be 2 kind of challenges. First one is group readings which would be planned according to group members votes. For example 3 books a month. Whoever wants to read one of these or all of these books they could read. These books will be there for just a reference.

Second challenge type can be, by creating a page with your user name for challenge and start reading turkish literature. There can be variations for example;
- Reading 12 Turkish literature books in 2012 (Level 0)
- Reading 25 Turkish literature books in 2012 (Level 1)
- Reading 50 Turkish literature books in 2012 (Level 2)
- Reading 100 Turkish literature books in 2012 (Level 3)
- Reading 250 Turkish literature books in 2012 (Level 4)

I guess level 0is easy to achieve, 1st and 2nd levels are achievable. Third is hard to achieve, but if you can challenge for fourth you are legendary.

I hope we can start the challenges in September:)

Hey everyone, thanks for the invite. I'm already at level 2 heading towards to level 2,5 since my challange was to read 70 books this year, not 100! :) But who knows, right? :)

Hey Marti, is all these books are turkish literature books. Because this challenge is just about turkish literature:) I hope you are level 2.5 for just only Turkish literature.

Oh, I see. No, 2,5 is not only for Turkish books for sure! :)

Lemme check, 15 of 55 is Turkish. Not bad, I guess. I assume I'll get the level 2 by the end of the year. :)

Arkadaşlar grupta sizlerinde challenge sayfalarınızı bekliyorum. Bu sayfalarda en az seviyede yorum olacak şekilde çeşitli challengelarınızı ekleyebilirsiniz. Örneğin ben "Level 0" olarak başlayıp bu sene içinde toplam 10 Türk edebiyatı kitabı bitirmeyi hedefledim.

Yine bunlara benzer çeşitli challengelar üretebiliriz. Önemli olan grup aktivitelerini artırabilmek.

Pınar ve Rosshalde çoktan başlamışlardı. Hatta Ross Level 1'e geçmeye niyetli gibi:)
