This game is based on the game show, Chain Reaction. Here is how it works. Someone will post a chain of four words, but will leave out the middle two words. The person below them will post words that fit.

Example:

Person A would post:

Person B would post the answer and then their own chain of four:

You don't have to wait for the person before to say if you're right, because sometimes there may be more than one way to make a chain. Just be sure when you post the new chain that there is a way for it to work.

Once someone guesses your chain, you may go and update your original post to let everyone know what your chain was.

That is a good idea Jan Marie. We could either do it the way you and Melanie have been doing it. Or, you could always go back to your original post and edit it to include your answer - that way there aren't a lot of comments to weed through to find the last chain.

I am already enjoying seeing how different our answers are from the original ones - the game was already fun but this adds an element that makes it a bit more interesting. It's fun to see the different paths that our minds can take.

I agree with what Megan said about going back to our original post and inserting our chain there. That way it is easier to compare the responses and, as she pointed out, it is also less cluttered, making it easier to follow along with the current chain. If a person is not interested in seeing the comparison, they can just go on with the next chain but if they are curious, the information is there for all to see.
