First the update... surgery went fantastically No problems, no complications, next day and no pain or swelling. YAY. Now the urgent part...Whatever your religious beliefs, please send prayers/thoughts/energies. I was informed a short time ago that my niece Stephanie Delaschmitt was involved in a horrific accident last night. The driver of the other vehicle was killed instantly, and her family needs prayers of healing as well. My niece, her son and her friend are all in intensive care with multiple injuries, her daughter was treated and released. Thank you all.

As an update... my niece was released from the hospital and her son might be released today. They are still facing a long, hard road... she may be facing charges in the other woman's death as the accident was indeed my niece's fault. She does not know what happened... one moment she was fine and the next all she saw was headlights and then the crash.

Good gracious! Positive vibes definitely headed that way!

And the beat goes on... a good friend of mine from CSU just notified us that her daughter.... 15 years old, a sophomore in a Montessori school making straight A's... has been diagnosed with Ewing's Sarcoma, the second most common form of bone cancer. She is a wonderful person and a brilliant girl (mentality AND personality) and now faces surgery, chemotherapy, and radiation treatments. Please send thought their way as well.
