Nothing But Reading Challenges discussion

With October just around the bend, I'm thinking of making my October reads have portion set aside for scary (but not necessarily too scary) paranormal books to go with the season. So please let me know what some of your favorite scary paranormal books are. They could include ghosts, werewolves, vampires, goblins, witches, etc. All recommendations will be appreciated. Oh, and if you can rate the scare factor on scale from 1 to 5 stars that would also be greatly appreciated.
