There were never any rules that I saw with the group as it has been previously, but I think it is important to have one, and it is this:

Official positions and doctrines of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints are regarded as revealed and inspired to the leadership of the Church by Divine Means. Posts that conflict with these may be deleted (particularly when critical of Church leaders/General Authorities), and 3 strikes may lead to being barred from posting on the group site.

What do I mean? I don't mean that it is not appropriate to ponder whether evolution may be part of the creation or that the Book of Mormon took place in the midwestern United States and Canada (as opposed to Central and South America). What this rules means is that a person should not be critical of the Church's stand on gay marriage, for instance.

I hope we can agree, but please feel free to comment and suggest amendments to this rule, as this is your group; I am simply the moderator. I just think it is important to establish a protocol in case someone defames our leaders.

So I just re-read my post from six years ago, and I am reconsidering my harsh tone from back then. I would like to encourage discussion and help to answer honest questions (and I'm not the authority, so I hope the group will help, as well).

I know this group has largely been inactive for a while now, and I'm probably to blame because of posts like the one above, so please accept my apologies.
