The paradise for the afterlife

Elise sat still on a bench, looking past the pleasant haze and on to the fields of punishment, ankles crossed and hands folded in her lap. She'd been crying, or as close to crying as she could get in heaven.

"I'm not in the mood, Apollo," she said, wiping her eyes on her long, white sleeve. Other spirits here felt warm. She was sure that it was as cold as any other part of the underworld.

She laughed bitterly. "I'm dead. There aren't many propositions left, unless I give it all another whirl, and even then I'll never see him again."

((I'm just going with it and improvising as I go along, so if there's some specific idea, just tell me.))
((Hmm, I was thinking he goads her into going for Elysium again, but you have ideas?))
"Wait," she said. "What's your proposition?"
"Wait," she said. "What's your proposition?"

((She looks different, but she must have red hair. :D Prometheus trait, you know. He does it because he can't date a ghost? Idk... And he hopes without her memories it might prove easier?))

He turned back around, smirk still in place. He knew she would say that. "Here's the deal: Hades can put you back on Earth, but you are someone else entirely. Red hair though, stupid Prometheus trait. And you are the age you died at. Con: no memories. They're all mine. Think on it, sweetheart."
((Yeah, okay, that sounds cool!))
She stood and faced him. "Please, Apollo, can't you send me back the way I was? If I don't remember him, if I can't even recall his name... Will I even be Prometheus's child?"

((This is kinda funny, because one of my charries had his memory stolen by Hera....))
((Lol, that's funny!))
She bit her lip. "I have one condition. I don't wake up as some silly girl in your arms, or you don't suddenly appear and save my life. I wake up in camp half blood, in Prometheus."

((Can we continue tomorrow? It's late here))
((Okay, G'night!))
She bit her lip. "But... if he never had me, this new body, how will it be explained? ((Mind alter? A random mystery?)) What if I don't meet Sebastian, what if he's gone back to Tartarus? Can you at least tell him?"

((*light bulb flashes over head* What if some girl made Apollo REALLY REALLY mad somehow (gotta figure something out) and Apollo is punishing her by putting Elise onto her body? ....Mmmh... It's a start...))
((Errrrmmmm..... Elise kind of made Apollo REALLY REALLY mad. And I suppose so. Maybe he had Dionysus make the girl go mad and he's using the body for Elise, but when she dunks in the Lethe, it'll make Elise's genes dominant?))
"Then... I accept," she said simply. "But so help me, if you use this opportunity to try to date me, if I ever remember, I'll hunt down your Godly rear and kick it."

Unfortunately, the gods had known exactly the way to keep them apart. If it weren't for Apollo's arrogance, they might never have seen each other again.
Elise thought she heard something and she whipped around. "What was that?" It hadn't sounded like screams or moaning...
((No offense, but this is taking a while, so I'm going to tie it up, okay?))
Apollo shrugged. "I didn't hear anything." He took her hand, and she didn't like it, but she let him lead her out of Elysium. That was strange, actually. She hadn't been able to leave before, but now it seemed as if she could just walk out on her own.
She heard the river before she saw it. "The river Lethe," she murmured.
"Yes," he said. "You'll change almost completely, you know. You'll probably be smaller, maybe weaker than the way you were before."
"I don't care!"
"Fine, fine by me. It's your memory." He let go of her hand on the shore and gestured to the water. "Go on, just walk in, dunk your head, and it'll all be over, you can start again."
She took a few tentative steps. It felt like her body -or her spirit- was being sucked down with the river, ripped off her bones. It didn't hurt, but... it was strange. She looked at Apollo with wide eyes, "How do I get back out again?" but he just gestured at her to continue.
She stepped under. And was flooded with light. And when she opened her eyes, she was in a cabin. She sat up quickly, feeling strange, like she was maybe too short, or as if she was too hungry. "Where am I?" she asked. That didn't sound like the right question. "Who am I?"
