My first historical romance novel will be published by Passion In Print on November 10, 2012. I am dedicating the book to my mother, who died last December. She inspired me, and was a huge romance reader and fan. The book is also dedicated to the memory of my father, who died 42 hrs after my mother of a ruptured aortic aneurism. Everybody said his heart exploded.

Lynn Reynolds (goodreadscomelylibrarysec) | 2 comments I'm sorry to hear about your parents. I still miss mother who died 6 years ago. My father's side has a genetic defect that's passed down - ours is abdominal aortic aneurysm. When my grandfather died from it he said that he thought something "popped".
On a happier note, I hope your book is a great success.

Thank you, Lynn. The surgeon said my dad's was the largest aortic aneurysm he had ever seen, 9X9 cm. I think my father, mind over matter, would not let that thing rupture while my mom was in the ICU. He wanted to be there for her, the hell with what his body was going through. When he collapsed, he said, "I have to be there for my Jeanie." HE had to make her funeral.

Lynn Reynolds (goodreadscomelylibrarysec) | 2 comments I totally understand. After my mother started failing, she wanted to be here for their anniversary, then Mother's Day. It got to the point where I had to call my brother's and have them tell her that it was ok to let go, that we would all be alright. That was the toughest day of my life.
