Chomp discussion

The climax of the story in Chomp is when Derek Badger, the selfish and ridiculous TV star, escapes into the wood, with the underlying delusions that he will turn into a vampire because he has been bitten by a bat. Wahoo and his friend Tuna have been hired to be Derek Badger's animal specialists, and they reluctantly chase after him along with an alligator and a madman on their heels. Much mayhem is caused along the way, until the book comes to a triumphant and hilarious ending. The book shows the reader the superficial practices that we come to accept in life as being false, and demonstrates the importance of respect, especially with a much mightier force than one's self,
such as nature. (Derek Badger soon finds this out!)

Chomp is about these kids who are making a TV show called expedition survival.these kids go to the everglades and wrestle alligators,find new animals.this kid named derrick badger the selfish ridicules TV star escapes and goes into the woods.he thinks he's going to turn into a vampire because he has been bitten by a bat.
