Dixon | 1 comments Thanks for the invite. It will be helpful for me - I have a writers blog, and want to start one just for readers, but am not sure what topics would be of interest.

I just hope this won't turn into another "buy my book" group. Nuff said.

Mostly I read crime & thriller/suspense tales but also dabble in RomCom, SciFi, hisoricals, Zombie romps - you name it. I like books that challenge me to be an active reader - multiple POVs, jumping around in time, told by an unreliable observer, etc.

How about you?

Greg Frucci (gregfrucci) | 1 comments Hi, thank you for inviting me. My name isGreg Frucci. I love to read any story which creates images in my mind. Stories both fiction and non about Nature, Adventure and Suspense are my favorites...combining them and I shut the world off until I finish. I recently sailed alone on a 30' sailboat to Bermuda and back from North Carolina...epic...and yep, wrote a book about it. :)
Peace to You,
Greg

Carrie Goodman | 1 comments Thanks for the invite! My name is Carrie and I am in no way a writer but an avid reader of all things that go bump in the night.
I did a comparison of the books i have read and you. It seems that we have only read one of the same, lol, interesting. But then again I have not tagged all the books that I have read. That would take a great amount of time to do so.
At the moment I am in between books. I just finished Pleasure Unbound by Larissa Ione, and I have not decided the next one for me to read yet.
I usually don't read more that one book at a time. but most of the time when I find a series that I like I read the first to the last book out. Unfortunately I do not have an Ereader so I purchase all my books and have to dust them all often :$
I guess that is more than what anyone really cares to hear about anyone they don't know, but I look forward to seeing what people are reading and there intake on it. Thanks again.-Carrie

Jacquie (jacquierogers) | 1 comments I'm a writer but only because of my book addiction. Truth be told, reading a great book that sweeps me away to another time and into the story world is what keeps me working. I guess it's words-in/words-out. My favorites right now are westerns, western historical romance, and YA fantasy.

In fact, probably half the books on my Kindle are YA fantasy. Dragon stories catch my attention every time, and I'm always disappointed when "dragon" is in the title but there are no dragons in the book. Same with any otherworldly creature. If it's in the title, it should be in the book. Hmmm, were did that rant come from???

Amanda (amandajayde) | 1 comments Hello All, I'm Amanda, I write paranormal romances and currently have 2 published by Liquid Silver Books. I'm working on the third in the series right now and hope to have it done and submitted by the end of the year.

My reading tastes run from horror to erotic romance, I love paranormals and contemporaries, historicals and sci-fi. As long as it's a good story, I'll read it :).

Harry MacLean (harrymaclean) | 1 comments Hi,
I'm a lawyer and writer living in Denver, Colo. My reading and writing tastes include true crime, murder and mayhem.

Recently I acquired the rights to my book "In Broad Daylight"—which won an Edgar Award and made the New York Times bestselling list twenty years ago—and published it on Amazon. tiny.cc/e-ibd. I'm offering free downloads every Thursday this month. Has anyone else ever done that when publishing through Kindle Select? Am interested in hearing how your experience went.
