Love chickens! Do you have a favorite bread pudding recipe?

I love bread pudding, but I've never made it. I really don't make dessert that often. I do like a snifter of bourbon occasionally and the whiskey based sauce sounds very good. I'll try to find a recipe like that.

A word of warning, though, - along with delicious, this stuff is calorie and fat dense, and addictive!
so don't say I didn't tell ya so.

haha I know the feeling. I have to expand my kitchen just for my cookbooks!

Serious eats did a "cook-the-book" on the Back in the Day Bakery Cookbook, with several featured recipes. I had hoped to win a copy (*sigh*). You can see the various recipes here.
