Jamie Marchant (jamiemarchant) I loved the Hunger Games. They kept me in tears; the story is so well told and the characters dynamic. The world she created was wonderful. I can't say enough good about them.

Leah (lepolk) | 6 comments I loved them. There was a good balance of suspense, adventure, and romance. It wasn't full of sap or gore. Suzanne Collins is a superb author. It was well-written, and the plot was simply intriguing. I am a total fanatic.

I.S. Anderson (Eman1272) I just watched the movie Battle Royale. This is the movie that a lot of people are saying the Hunger Games "ripped off." Now, they do both involve teenagers being thrown into an arena by the government to fight to the death, but that's where it ends.

The Hunger Games was far superior in my opinion. It had a lot less plot holes, the characters were more memorable, and was thought through much better. Battle Royale just seems to be a guys ranting about how it's wrong to send young people to their death. I could have told you that.
