I just picked up Girls In Love from the library today! How was it?
I did not enjoy it much. Gave it two stars. I thought it might be as good as The Princess Diaries by Meg Cabot but it was not. A very quick read though
I will keep that in mind. I'm super leery of the "Young Adult" and "Children" Books on the list, and I don't think I view them, persay, as I did when I was younger. I know tastes change, but...

On page 272 out of 373. This book has become very intense and disturbing. Not for the faint of heart. But still an incredible book.
Finished The Kite Runner. Wow is all I can say. What an emotional roller coaster. With everything that is happening in the world today I think everyone should read this.
Just completed Pride and Prejudice. Loved it. Elizabeth's confrontation with Lady Catherine de Bourgh was the best chapter in the book for me. I am now going to start Cloud Atlas
I loved Cloud Atlas. I saw the movie before reading the book; which worked for me. I loved the movie also. I hope you love the book as much as I did. I love how well each character is developed, the different time periods, the different genre for each section, and how it all weaves together. I have completed The Golden Compass and The Subtle Knife from His Dark Materials trilogy. I am now starting The Amber Spyglass. While I don't agree with some of the theme I think that Phillip Pullman is an excellent storyteller and pulls all the threads of the story together really well.
What are is your favorite out of the top 100 list that you have read so far? Or maybe top 3, if it is hard to choose (like me! ;)
Probably The Kite Runner. Although A Town Like Alice,The Shadow of the Wind and the perennial favorite To Kill a Mockingbird are all really excellent books.
