Parents of Tweens (9-14) discussion

Does this ever happen to you? The kiddo ha just finished something "epic" but the next book is not actually on hand. It's either enroute via snail mail or the library interloan service is slow poky. You don't want to start something new that's very long cos it will be abandoned with glee when the much longed-for title arrives. That's when I find something that can be read in one sitting at the library. I grap a couple of these fun books to last a day or so. This one is a collection of silly Halloween jokes and storeis. Thomas loves funny stuff. Sometimes I think Dav Pilkey has ruined a generation.
