maybe something in the UF realm - like Kate Daniel's or Patricia Biggsor more of the romantic suspense - like Pamela Clare, Suzanne Brockmann etc
I think the I-Team series by Pamela Clare would be a good choice. There is lots of actions and really sexy love scenes. :)
You might look at some contemporary western romances - Vivian Arend (Six Pack Ranch Series) is good and erotic too. Not much suspense though.
if you don't mind raunchy language,
is a sarcastic, hilarious romp. Straight up contemporary romance. Hero is a blue collar guy and heroine is a barmaid/baker.
If you don't mind the more erotic side of things, the Nauti series by Lora Leigh would keep his attention.
the Nauti series was exactly what I was going to suggest. Strong, alpha males and good suspense. Another of my favorites is the Bound Hearts series by Lora Leigh. However, fair warning that series involves good suspense and great chemistry but is also m/f/m menage. Not over the top, a good solid relationship spiced up with a third once in a while. Lora Leigh also writes a good series involving military men, Special Ops I believe is the name and it too is very contemporary, suspenseful and hot. Good luck!

The other night, I started reading some of the more… erotic scenes of my book out loud to my husband and he seemed to enjoy it (some guys just don’t know what they are missing) Anyways- I want to start reading books with my Husband.. He isn’t much of a reader and I want to slowly ease him into the more fantastic romances because I don’t want him to get freaked by all the sexy vampires, aliens and highlanders.
So I need a recommendation for a good romance novel that meets these requirements: My husband is a real ‘guys guy’ and so a strong Hero type figure. Lots of Action and suspense to keep him interested in between the sex scenes. Nothing too fantastical, more realistic maybe. I don’t read many modern romances but maybe that might be more up his ally? Anything funny and of course hot chemistry between the characters
I know this is long, but thank you in advance for any rec’s you can give me!!
