Notorious Nineteen
question
Rating without reading.

How come people feel compelled to leave a rating or review before they have even read the book? I feel this is unfair to the readers who want an actual review of the book.

I have to agree with so many other reviewers that the author lost her zip and punch a long time ago in this series. It has gotten tired and old several books ago. Enough already I want to see what Grandma Mazur( who must be 100 by now) does at Steph's wedding. That would be a hoot.
I used to laugh so hard I cried reading her books but 18 and 19 just didn't measure up.
I love this series. One of the things I love is that it is an easy read. I know when I start reading what to expect from the characters. I also enjoy knowing that it will be laugh out loud funny before I even crack a page.

Well, I just can't get tired of this series. What would I do without Lula and Grandma? I agree, this is a good laugh, light, easy to read. Janet would have to really get awful for me to stop reading!
Seems like Janet is still getting a paycheck from writing these due to the font size and length and the amount of information that is just blatantly carried over and plugged in from book to book. I am frustrated with this series and will wait several years before reading any more of it and by that time I will have 5 more books because these are so completely formula driven! Definitely don't pay good money to get it, just get it from the library :)
I mean, I don't have to date someone to know we wouldn't go along well, but I get what you're saying.

I agree Tracy. If you have read the book because you received an ARC, by all means rate and review. What I hate are the people eagerly anticipating a novel who feel the need to rate a book with 5 stars simply because they can't want to read it. I have no problem with people commenting but don't effect the books average rating with your false one.
There were just a couple of the books I didn't like. I enjoyed reading this one. I enjoyed Diesel in her books, but not his separate series.
