Donna Moore | 4 comments Hi All,

I am a new member looking for some help please.

For some years now, I have been searching for a fictional collection of ghost stories that I purchased through Doubleday Book Club Australia shortly after I joined in 1993. I think it would have been published in 1992/1993.

The book was hardcover and unfortunately I cannot rememer the name of it. I have already contacted Doubleday to see if I could get my purchase history, however, their computerised records only go back as far as 1996.

I think it might have been a single-author collection and maybe a woman writer. I remember the stories being really quite chilling. The word rose keeps coming into my head when I think of this book. I recall one story was about the haunting of a man called Cliff, who I think died at the end. The name stuck as I had a friend called Cliff at the time.

I have been searching for this book for a long time (I don't know why I ever got rid of it in the first place) and I just came across this site today. Can anyone help me?

Dirk (dirk_p_broer) | 1 comments A Jason Lynx mystery by A.J. Orde (Sheri S. Tepper)?
The anthology 'Moonlight, Madness, and Magic' by Suzanne Forster, Olivia Rupprecht and Charlotte Hughes?

Jim (jimmaclachlan) It doesn't ring any bells for me. You might try asking in the group that specializes in finding books here:

Thanks, I did flag Marvin Kaye as an author to check out, so I will investigate.
