Ok instead of doing scheduled pages per day let's just read as much as we want per day. Whether you want to read the whole book in one day or just a few pages go ahead. When you stumble upon something Intresting that you would like to discuss don't be afraid to post your opinion. Just please before you post tell what pages your discussing (ex:1-29) so in case someone hasn't read it they won't be spoiled. I'm gonna go read now can't wait to have a discussion (:
Oh my gawd I’m in love with this book. I'm about halfway done, but I thought I’d just share pages 1-108 and my take on it all (:
I feel the book is a bit cliché, but at the same time the author has added a few accepts I don't normally see in book, and that may be one of the reason I just can't stop reading.
I definitely feel bad for Echo, and her issues with not remembering. She knows her mother killed her, but she doesn't remember ANYTHING! I can't even imagine.
I totally feel bad for Noah too. I mean only being able to see your brother 2 times a month has got to suck majorly. Of course I can see how Mrs. Collins (the therapist) would use that to make him open up, and open up he does. Noah's also got it in his mind that his brothers are in an abusive foster home, I don't really know what to believe though.
I think overall in all of the pages I’ve read that Mrs. Collins has got to be one of my favorite characters. She's really trying, and I think that she's definitely happening. One character that I don't like is Grace. I mean how you can be friends with someone in private, but totally ignore them in public? It’s just wrong. If I had a friend like that...well we wouldn’t even be friends! No questions asked.
I hope everyone that's reading is enjoying this book as well! Tell me what you're thinking so far (:

Purposely not reading your last post (spoiler alert for myself), I am totally picking this book up, the description alone had me dropping a book I was reading and getting it, I'll post when I get some done!!!
Yay. It's really good so far. I literally can not stop reading. I know I have to read this boring book for school, but honestly it can wait. Hope you like it as well (:
Pages 108-234
"'Are you ready to take the ACT on Saturday?' my father asked.
Did chickens enjoy being put on trucks labeled KFC? 'Sure'"
I love how there's a little bit of humor in this book, but at the same time it's totally serious and a lot of people could totally be going through some of these issues right now, not the exact same ones, but similar to theirs. And I knew there was something kind of sketchy wither her stepmom, but a babysitter, it really kind of disgusts me. I mean her mom's bi-polar and all, but just eww. If I had to deal with that I’d have no idea what to do. Go with the crazy mom or stay with your dad and the babysitter? Of course the decision was made for her, but I’m wondering what would happen If it wasn’t and she had the choice to stay with her mother.
Also Like sucks at being a boyfriend I mean they went to go see a movie about war, and lots of people died, Echo leaves the movie, and the jerk is still there just watching the movie. Then she leaves and sees Noah and even he tells her that, come on now. And then when he apologizes, I don't even think he was sincere it was probably just because someone else had told him to apologize (her friends most likely.)
Also when she has the flashback, it's like she just can't connect two and two I think I know more on the whole thing, but there's a lot more to be uncovered.
Luke= A pig because: 1) he would never touch her scars 2) now he suddenly has a new girlfriend he's the one that needs to go to therapy and get over himself. And Grace already denying their friendship, I just want to slap her in the face repeatedly!
Also when Echo's dad interrogated Noah it was just priceless, and then he touched her scars and it's like his whole opinion on him changed instantly. I also love Beth and how she's not all happy and she sees life for what it is most of the time.
Noah is a gentleman as well, she said she wanted to wait until they had sex, and unlike Luke he didn't push her. I want my own Noah!

Jennifer wrote: "I love Noah and I love this book! A first class read. Have you cried yet?"
): no, but I was literally on the verge of tears I guess I'm just not a person to cry so much. I used to not even cry over the saddest things ever, but now I have grown a bit and have emotions (not that I didn't before.) And I know what you mean with Noah, I wish someone could wrap him up for anchristmas present and give him to me (: I mean his change from being a rude jerk into something caring and sweet was amazing. I loved how the author developed their relationship as well they knew they had feelings for each other, and yet they didn't say 'I love you' until the very end. I can't wait for the second book :D

I think it's about Noah's friend, i can't think of her name right at the moment though

I know righ? did u vote for it in the goodreads thing?
I know righ? did u vote for it in the goodreads thing?
oh yeah, i can't wait, although honestly i was hoping that she'd end up with the other friend, i think it's issiah or something like that, but no she apparently falls for a joke. I have no doubts though that Katie will do a good job writing it, and hopefully it's not cliche.

Yes, I voted and I can't wait to read Beth's book.
Yeah. I voted for Insurgent but I didn't notice the Fault in our stars so I couldn't vote for that. Also I hadn't read this book, and if I did read this before I voted the choice would be obvious
