Post-Structuralism Reading Group discussion

Post-Structuralism Reading Group? What does that name mean?

It means we could all read the same post-structuralist book and discuss it. So, say, Roland Barthes, or Badiou or Kristeva. Or even Zizek.
But guess no one's interested then...
I mean, there is more to books than King and Rowling...

I have great fondness for Julia Kristeva.

What is the current status of the group?
Would anyone consider reading essays as opposed to books?
I read the word "Barthes" and I got buttergliues/sommerfugl in my tummy!
I hope there is still activity here; if so, there may be someone else I can invite!
It would be so lovely to have a bi-lingual group for so many, all personal, reasons!

I'm unfamiliar with Barthes but recently picked up a copy of S/Z and was very intrigued. I was thinking about reading The Death of The Author as a starting point, which is incredibly short. Anyone interested in reading this week and having a discussion at the end of the week?

Ehm, the link downloaded immediately without asking permission to do so. Bit scarey that! Will have to identify its source before opening it. Its not always easy for me to get books-especially books on theory, here; in English or otherwise, so I am limited in that sense. Would love to read the essay and discuss. Will check back soon.
