Ok, this is the big question, who will Tessa choose?

I hope this is what happens:

Will and Tessa get together
Jem and Will's Sister get together
Jesamine and Gabriel get together

What do you guys think?

OH GAWD I didn't knew Will had a sister ._. when is she mentioned? I only read the 1st book XD but I hope Tessa chooses Will of course :D

Will's sister is mentioned in the second book, sorry for the spoiler!

My guess is Tessa ends up alone or with Jem. I'm hoping for Jem.

I think none will be with each other. :/

I'm here to tell you that you're not alone. :) I'm going to cry too if Jem or Will's brotherhood is broken... :'(

All I know is that if Tessa doesn't end up with Will, i am most probably going to spend most of Clockwork Princess crying...

I really want Tessa to end up with Will, but I don't want Jem and Will to lose their brotherhood.

Obviously Tessa will end up choosing Will or Jem based on the other Mortal Instruments books. The author constantly makes a love triangle and then struggle between the three and then finally the lovely two.

So, the only question is which one will she choose, Will or Jem, and I believe it is Will. Jem is dying and that is the only reason she is agreeing to the marriage. They were friends she mistook there friendship with each other for love. She chose the safe one instead of the bad boy, questionable, love of her life that Will is. In the end, she will only hurt Jem, even though he will still love her with a broken heart and die, and be with Will for a happy ending.

i so agree with you. After clockwork prince, after Will confessed, i was sobbing. i'm like " WILL!!!!! oh my darling Will. Why is it always the one i like that gets hurt???"

And now after reading all those theory's, i have a feeling i'll slap whoever interrupts me, even teachers, and start crying in front of everyone at school.

For some reason, I hate when books have what I like to call, "Noah's Ark Syndrome". This is when every main and/or supporting character ends up being in a relationship with someone. For example, if any of you have read The Caster Chronicles, you would know that there are six main teen characters, Lena, Ridley, Liv, John, Link and Ethan. Of course, since this series suffers from Noah's Ark Syndrome, the relationships were Lena & Ethan, Ridley & Link and John & Liv.

I don't want TID to end like that. Yes, it means everybody wins, but it's just not realistic (Yes, I am perfectly aware that these books are fictional and they are able to have perfect endings).

I think Will and Tessa will end up together, as will Gideon and Sophie. But I don't think Jem will get anyone, or he may just die.

Tessa is 100% going to be with Will! I have hope! Seriously, why would Tessa end up with Jem with a whole other book left in the series!?! That's too fast of a happy ending and I have hardcore evidence well not really...but if you recall in the 2nd book, i don't remember exactly where but I think it's the part where Will is on Drugs or something. He says (while laughing and joking kind of) "...or run away with my best friend's wife."

"...or run away with my best friend's wife." AGUTUJDJAGY!!!

Best friend being Jem. and best friend's wife being Tessa. so in translation...

"or run away with Tessa!!

But in total seriousness that was one little line in the book and it doesn't mean anything...maybe. Though I'm still 100% sure in the end it will be Tessa and Will. I do feel sorry for Jem though. Will knows how Jem feels about Tessa since the first book. It's sad but i kind of hope he dies...to make things easier. I'll still cry over him. or maybe he'll move somewhere else so he's not so heartbroken.

So this is my first time commenting on this thread, but I just have to say this.
I think that Tess wants to be with will ( this is NOT just my hopefulness) but I also think that she wants to be in love with jem. I think that she convinced herself that she loves jem, and she does love jem,just not in the way she wants to. That's the whole vibe I got from the three of them and oh I also think that jem doesn't love her, love her if you know what I mean. But then again this whole "vibe" I got just may be because I love will ( I have this thing for dark-haired, light-eyes guys. I just love the contrast!!!) anyway did anyone else get this "vibe" I got?

I am a Will x Tessa fan..so hopefully those two.

Did you guys read the blurb of the book? It's on Cassandra Clare's tumblr. I finally know what is actually going to happen! And once AGAIN Will is doing all the saving :( It sounds so good though! And so long :O And Tessa can "command the power of the angels." Just read the blurb. Cassie's url is "cassandraclare"

On the other hand, I really hope Will and Tessa get their happy ending, but I doubt it.

Okay first off, Jem and Cecily will never happen. She's Will's little sister-she's like 14/15...Okay, Jem isn't that much older but even disregarding the age difference, there is really only one person Jem will ever be in love with and want and that person is obviously Tessa.

I am pretty sure Cassie said somewhere on her blog that we will find out who Tessa ends up with by end of CP2 so my guess and take on that is she is going to end up with either Jem or Will and not alone...

I think it's really awful how some people are saying how Jem should die so that Will and Tessa can be together. Jem loves Tessa in a true love, 'I want to spend the rest of my life being happy with you' way, and I really think though at first, she only felt friendship for Jem, because Will quashed any idea of them ever being together because of the way he acted towards her because of his "curse," she did actually grow to love Jem...Her love for Jem is real just as her love for Will is real...and no, I definitely don't see her bond with Jem as brotherly otherwise she never would have almost slept with Jem.

I think Sophie and Gideon are perfect and really hope they end up together. :)

Gabriel I don't like and do not want him with anyone...

I got the same vibe. I actually feel like both Jem and Tessa want to love eachother in a way that they don't. Jem has already said his biggest fear is to die without the love his parents had. I definitely think he cares for her, but I think he loves the IDEA more than anything and he's talked himself into believing he feels this "forever" kind of love because of that fear.

Just like Tessa talked herself into marrying him. I don't remember the page, but there's a moment when she chants "I'm marrying Jem" or something like that in her head, like she's convincing herself it's the right choice.

It will be very sad to me if they get together; not because of Will's sadness, but because Tessa will be marrying Jem when she's in love with his best friend. It's not fair to any of them and Jem certainly doesn't deserve that.

But I will be even more angry if Tessa pulls a "I can't hurt either of you so I will be forever alone." That's just stupid and now that leaves 3 miserable people. I find nothing noble about lying about how you feel because it could "hurt someone." Hurt is part of life.

I just want Tessa to end up with who she wants. Right now it seems like that's Will, but I will be fine if it's Jem as long as I believe she is choosing him because that's what SHE wants and there is no regrets. But Clockwork Prince definitely hinted at marrying Jem is not what her heart wants. And that's just not fair.

Since Cassie has said multiple times that the ending is the only way it could end, it almost leaves me to believe that Tessa dies and becomes a ghost or she chooses neither. Both I find to be cop outs to avoid conflict.

I agree. I do think that Jem loves her, but when he said i want a love like my parents, i felt that that made Tessa say yes.
I think Tessa will i end up with Will (not just my wishful thinking speaking) but if she does, Jem is probably going to die, or turn into silent brother or something like that.
But either way, she will end up with one of them. And if she pulls the "i love you both, but i can't choose" i really,really,really hope somebody would kill her then. Because that doesn't solve anything. It would probably make Jem and Will hate each other because they feel like the other one caused this.

I want her to end up with Will. But what if she ends up with no one at the end? I'm hoping not.

As much as I love the idea of Will and Tessa being together, I have a feeling that Tessa will leave both Will and Jem and those two will find other women in their lives.
I really want Gideon and Sophie to end up together, they're actually my OTP in this series, and i love them so much.
I also really like the idea of Cecily and Gabriel together.

I seriously cannot choose my OTP for Tessa. I mean Jem is completely and utterly good and Will, dear god that Blue-eyed bastard and his beauty — I cannot choose at all!
I'm pretty sure even though Tessa is engaged to Jem, she will at one point end up with Will. Theory moment – Tessa said at some point that Will was like her drug in a way, forgot which book (possibly Clockwork Prince) but most protagonists go with the character that seems to be their addiction.
Gideon and Sophie will get together for sure and Gabriel will end up with Cecily, even if Will tells him to stay away from her.
I seriously can't wait for Clockwork Princess, but I'm pretty sad that this is the last book we'll ever get to read about the Trio.

I really hope Jem gets Tessa :) from all of the things he's been through and how he's so utterly good to her and everyone, and sensible, he deserves her more than Will. I'd also like to see a different kind of character get the girl, it's always the hot, fearless, sarcastic guys. But what about Jem?! He's so beautiful and good and smart but has his funny sides. Although how much I wish Jem and Tess could be together, I'm pretty sure Will and Tessa will end up together instead just because Will is so much like Jace. Either that or Tess will end up with neither of them and end up alone. Which would be sad but makes sense.

I think that Tess will either end up with Will or no one. I wish it would be Jem with all my heart but I don't think that will happen. I love Jem so much! And sorry to disagree with people who are saying that Tess doesn't really love Jem and that Jem doesn't really love Tessa, but I think Jem really loves Tess, and he's not going to ever fall in love with anyone else besides her. I think Tessa really does love Jem as well, partly because of the dream she had in CP that was Henry analyzing her "clockwork" heart and how it was divided exactly in two halves. One for Wil and one for Jem. Mmmm foreshadowing. Also, I don't think that Tessa realizes how much she does love Jem deep down. That's just my opinion though, and we don't have much longer to wait! Clockwork Princess comes out tomorrow!!

I agree with Olivia that Tess will end up with Will. But unlike her I really hope she does. Normally I would like it if Tess was with Jem, but you have to remember Jem is DIEING. I don't know about you, but I rather not marry someone even if I did like them, if they were going to die soon. But I do like Will anyway, I think a lot cooler than Jace and all the other characters. But tell me how the book is, I will not be able to read it for at least an other week. Which is extremely sad.
