I thought that I might start adding a book of the month. Unlike a lot of groups where you buy the book each month, you may not choose to do this, but it may give you something to check it out.

Please feel free to recommend books for this feature.

Seawood Red Velvet And Chocolate Heartache by Harry Eastwood

Of course. :) It seems like I never use anything else these days! Nearly all of it is gluten-free and uses vegetables instead of fats - so there's no butter or oil in these cakes other than the few which have buttercream icing. I've baked almost everything in it now and have never had one go wrong or taste weird - they are truly amazing. The writing style is a bit twee but you can get past that, and actually I find it does give you an idea of what your final product should be like, something you don't get from a lot of books.

In short, I've recommended this so many times I should be on commission. :)
