What book are you currently reading?

I am currently reading a great Freebie Marked. Loving it so far!

The Art Forger by B. A. Shapiro. Great look into the art world and techniques used to fake paintings wrapped up in a mysterious narrative....I won't be able to put this one down.

I have The Art Forger on my stack, but right now I'm reading an ARC of a book called Bone River to do a review for Book Browse. So far it's great.

the scarpetta factor and the hunger games trilogy.

I'm getting a heard start on The Twelve for an upcoming Goodreads December book club read and Annoying: The Science of What Bugs Usfor a current November book club read.

I'm on my 4th Derek Robinson book. He writes mostly about WWI & II. They usually revolve around a quirky cast of characters trying to survive against a backdrop of savage warfare.
Sometimes funny and often poignant - I can't put them down. They are a bit pricey though.

I've finished Release Me - J. Kenner. Is kinda like Fifty Shades and Bare To You style book, so intense are the characters that I throughly enjoyed it. Now I can't decide whether to read next installment or carry on reading something I started lol.

I have finished Claim Me - J. Kenner which I thought the characters are so intense now with the way Damien and Nikki are learning about each other. It's still in the style of 50 Shades. Now I am going to read Complete Me - J. Kenner and I am listening to .The Woman Who Went to Bed for a Year - Sue Townsend on my phone.

Written on the Body by Jeanette Winterson. It's gorgeous.

I've decided to read Halfhead - Stuart MacBride

1979: A Big Year in a Small Town by Rhona Cameron. This could be the funniest book I have ever read, possibly because she has lived my life as far as teenage lesbian stalking of teachers is concerned, and is mercilessly witty about the experience.

How did I not know about this book before??

Just started The Secret Diary of Adrian Mole, Aged 13 3/4 by Sue Townsend (read thirty years ago, but forgotten). I'm informed by many sources that it's hilarious.

I've decided to read Shelter - Tara Shuler

Just finished Shelter - Tara Shuler. Wasn't a bad book, was interesting in parts for the style of book. Found quite a few spelling and grammar errors and sent an email to the author telling her. Now I am going to read Vigilante - Kerry Wilkinson.

As both an author and a reviewer, thank you for the way you handled your concerns over grammar and other errors in the book. Given the number of self-published or small-publisher ebooks coming out, I don't see any need to embarrass an author by reviewing or rating the book with one or two stars because of errors like that.

Granted, it shouldn't have happened, and the author should have sought out help with things like that before going ahead with publication, but you learn by doing. Hopefully an email or two will help an author to either improve his/her writing, or obtain the necessary editorial assistance so that the focus can be on the story itself and not the goofs.

Just my never-humble opinion.

Eric, I am on offer for help with the spellings and grammar as I help a couple of authors myself. So I tend to look out for these things and it's a shame when it's the 1st book in a series or a good book x

Reading so far this shifter series is good a little drawn out in the middle sometimes but still a good read.

Doctor Sleep! The new Stephen King. I'm loving it. It's a sequel to The Shining.

Really enjoying Babylon Steel after picking it up at the Andromeda One con in Brum last month.

I've had a 5hr bath and finished Vigilante - Kerry Wilkinson. Had some spelling/grammar mistakes, but all in all a very good thriller. I kinda guessed near the end who was doing it and will be carrying on reading the rest of the series. Now I think I will go back to reading Halfhead - Stuart MacBride.

"I am sorry to say that I have given this as much energy and time as I can, but I still can't get into the storyline. I have no idea the characters are like the way they are. Not sure where the story is going with a prolific serial killer not doing much as it is and why the police officer is just sat in a pub moaning.

Oh well, I do love Stuart MacBride's books. But I really couldn't get my head and teeth into this Sci-fi style book".

Based on the authors who wrote 50 Shades and Bared To You books. I am reviewing these for Netgalley.
