Have you read "Dinner with a Vampire"? Was it good? Is it worth reading??? Why did you like it?

I didn't really enjoy this book; in fact, a couple of times I put it down and contemplated not finishing it. I bought it after seeing the (very young) author being interviewed on TV. I felt the concept of "The Dark Heroine" was an interesting one, but the quality of the writing is very patchy throughout. I believe this started out as an online fanfic, which perhaps tells you all you need to know.

Loved this book, so different from the other vampire stories i've read, and i love how, at first, she doesn't make Kasper a prince charming but a bad boy with a good heart in the end. Kasper and Violet forever :)

I really enjoyed this book.
It was given to me by chance.....and I'm so glad I read it.
It was better than I thought it'd be.

It changes from Violet's POV - to Kasper's.
Which I found interesting.
It's a series!

I would only recommend it to people who are into this genre though.

I seriously loved this book, although i do think that the editing could have been a little bit better, i was left feeling a little confused at times. But if you can get past that i would definately say its worth the read, an interesting story with a twisting, unpredicatable plot.

THis book was alot of old Vampire books sprinkled with the new vampire look with a limited amount of originality. Masquerade ball-been done, vamps stuck in the 16th century living in todays time-been done, young hot vampire-been done. ETC.....
Check the reviews they are not favourable especially if you have read alot of vampire stories. It seems Abgail has becuase she chewed them over and spit them back out then signed her name.
I found this book boring and just bad. However, she still had some original ideas and think she will become, BECOME a good writer. In the first few chapters I felt like i was reading City of Bones VAmpire style..........
I actually returned this book and got a refund.

I read it but I didn't love it.

It's ok. Am I curious about what's going to happen with the sequel? Kinda.

I also agree the book is badly edited, even though I loved the book and have read it 3 times.

In some sentences it is unclear who is speaking and one sentence the same line is repeated twice (arm round the shoulder?) a bit like glaring continuity errors in a movie. Annoying but don't detract from the overall finish of the book.

the book is really nice
BUT...
1. editing could have been quiet better
2.changing POV 'S confuse the readers sometimes
MOST IMPORTANTLY, MISCONCEPTION REGARDING VAMPIRES
(though these vampires get sunburn and bite but at many points, its wrong regarding vampires)

Tina J Wrong regarding vampires?
Since Vampires are FICTIONAL, there should be no 'rules' as to what a vampire can & can't do. lol
