Cecilia Carreon I want to read this book because of the ratings but, if it is just like 50 shades of grey then i'll go ahead and pass. Just want to make sure i dont miss out on a good story.

It's nothing like fifty. I think the reason they are comparing it, is because there are elements of S&M. You should read it, it was an excellent book and so many of us can't wait for the second book, due to come out in February.

Anna's Herding Cats I'll second that. It's really nothing like Fifty Shades. I couldn't finish the first Fifty book it was so horrible but I LOVED this one. Jones is a fantastic writer and the story was very entertaining.

I did NOT like this book. It was all so predictable. Not that it was anything like FSoG...except when she called him her "beautiful fucked up man"-which is pretty much Christian Grey. To me, the ending felt so contrived and obvious...but hey- a lot of people have loved this book. So dont let my opinion stop you.

Adriana Aviles I enjoyed it, and I'm looking forward to part two.

I didn't care for 50 shades either. I read the whole series so I would know what everyone was talking about. You need to read books for yourself. Give books a chance, and if you don't like it don't continue. Not everyone likes the same things, and often I find if I had listened to all the reviews I would have missed out on some great books. Reading after all is supposed to expand the mind, plus it is interesting to see how other people's imagination works. I usually borrow books from the library that way I am not out of money plus it keeps the library going with the circulation of books. If the book is really good enough to reread, then I buy them.

Re I loved if I were you, and I read 50 Shades and liked it as well. But, the books are not the same. I cannot wait till the 2nd book in the series comes out.

Paris (kerbytejas) This book is nothing like FSOG, nor is it like the Crossfire trilogy (Silvia Day) - the only thing in comment might be the wealth of the men and the kink sex
this book has a great plot to it as well as fantastic erotic mystery, lust, and need. you feel this story

Re I agree, although I liked FSOG and more so, Crossfire triology. I loved If I Were You!! The books are not the same, and I cannot wait till the next installment!!

you don't say what you didn't like about FSOG.
This is a great book.. its more like erotic suspense with D/s elements at this point it couls grow into more BDSM in future books???

Bethany LOVE these books! Its got some of the same theme as Fifty Shades as far as there being some BDSM, BUT its got a mystery twist and a love triangle between Sara, Chris and Mark that keeps you hooked, sooo can't wait for the Starz TV show!

Brandy Blackerby I as well am Completely in Love with this series!! The books & Journals!! I cant wait for the next Journal & Being Me!!!

I wasn't expecting the cliffhanger at the end. I really enjoyed the book, I liked the suspenseful elements and found little to compare it to 50SoG. I'm looking forward to reading BEING ME to find out what happens NEXT.

Paris (kerbytejas) i just have to say that just because a book has BDSM in it or elements of BDSM light it sould be compared to FSOG....why can't readers let a book stand on its won merits.
I loved FSOG, Crossfire and this series...and it is NOTHING LIKE FSOG...
I hate all the FSOG comparisions

Its an awesome story..I loved it... I think romantic erotic suspense is HOT

Zita There is Fifty Shades, there is Crossfire and there is the Inside Out Trilogy (If I Were You). I love all of them and I don't consider them to be like each other. They are unique story lines with perhaps some similar elements. This book is seductive romantic suspense with a mystery to solve. I loved it and will continue to finish the series. Yes there is a cliffhanger. I find that lately most series have them and this one cut off at a good point. I was satisfied and am looking forward to the continuation.

BookLovin IIWY is much better than 50 shades. I thought 50 shades was great when I first read it because I had never read an erotica type book before, but after I read Reflected In You and other books similar to it, I realized how much it actually sucked! Lol The best thing about it is Christian's POV at the end of the book.

Pearls I loved If I Were You much more than 50 Shades. Sara finds a journal written by Jessica. Jessica has found herself in a 50 Shades like relationship, and Sara is trying to find her to make sure she is safe. So she enters the world of BDSM, but her journey is very different (and much healthier than in 50 Shades). The mystery helps to create a plot that is more than just the BDSM.

Madel it's an entirely different story than fifty shades.. but definitely has BDSM in it.. there's no harm in trying to read this one.. i love both trilogy.. i'm done with fifty trilogy and also with inside out trilogy..

Donna Fernandez I don't think this is anything like 50 Shades. I am on the second one, Being Me, and love the mystery of it.

Robin H I absolutely HATE it when books get compared to other books because of a teeny tiny similarity between the two. So what if a book had a little bit of BDSM in it. That does NOT make it another 50 Shades. So what if it has vamps in it? That does NOT make it another Twilight. I seriously wish people would stop making such generalized connections. I personally tend to ignore them, but I can see how others would take such comments to heart and miss out on a truly great book or series because of it. And this series- the Inside Out books (ALL OF THEM!) by LRJ is one that is not to be passed over!

Oh what fun! I really enjoyed the series as well. Though the last book was a disappointment
