.) A quick summary about this book is that, It's about this guy who is a runner and he wants to know why he goes through these injuries and what not with shoes, and he comes across this guy who ran through the Rocky Mountains with just sandals on. Not to give away the book it just goes about talking a lot about shoes and how what we thought about running is actually wrong. Its a lot of knowledge and background on running and what not.
.) I gave this book 3 stars, because it really didnt catch my interest as much as i thought it was going to. It was a lot about the olden days and shoes. It started off really boring i thought, once it picked up i suppose it wasn't to bad, it isnt something i would read again.
.) "Just move your legs. Because if you don’t think you were born to run, you’re not only denying history. You’re denying who you are."Bramble, p. 244 I used this quote because he believes everyone is destined to run its just how they go about it and how much they are willing. He thinks people are missing out if they dont so he believes that we don't no who we are.
.) This kind of reminds me of Irony because he says that he hates running because he gets hurt but then he still continues to run
.) I would recommend this book to anyone who likes true stories, its a more older book i feel it talks a lot about the older days and more of a science of shoes and running mixed with personal stories. So anyone who enjoys those put in one.
