Again, I need help managing my overflowing shelves! I have a couple of hundred ebooks on my Kindle, but I'm not sure which ones are at the "decent" end of the spectrum! I'm off to the outback again tomorrow, and thought it'd be good to have some decent ebooks lined up.

Has anyone read and loved any of the books I have shelved here?

Thanks! :)

Bernie Dowling (beedeed) | 8 comments Slaughterhouse 5 is a classic but it is a literary novel, not slash and gore, as a lot of the other titles seem to be.

Derek (derek_broughton) | 796 comments Well, Slaughterhouse 5 is also one that appears to be only on that list by accident - as she already seems to have given it 4 stars (and anyway, wasn't it in this group that we read it?)

Ruby: Not that I'd call it a "literary" novel - if it was, I doubt I'd have read it 3 or more times.

I've read Memoria. A Corporation of Lies, and quite liked it - though I wasn't terribly thrilled by the translation: it seemed that sometimes it was translated into English, and sometimes into American. If I understand your shelving system, I'd say you're wrong - it's not Young Adult.

Ruby: Not..."

Thanks Derek. You're right, I have read SL5 in this very group! I was going to fix it up when this topic first popped up, but hadn't gotten to it yet.

Thanks for the info on Memoria too. I think the book page reads like one of the recent spate of YA dystopian stories! I might move it a bit further up the list...

LOL. High praise indeed! :)

I really should get around to finishing The Beetle one of these days too. It was pretty cool...
