But the money has to be good, right Anne?

Thanks again, Athira, for organizing this! I just love Read-a-thons!

The extra money is good, but I miss having free time. It really wears you out after a while. Working an extra 73 hours in the course of 2 months is too much, and I'm not done yet.

Nov. 17 AM update - My goals during this marathon:
- Ring - Koji Suzuki (282 pages)
- Cloud Atlas - David Mitchell (509 pages)
- The Phantom of the Opera - Gaston Leroux (360 pages, to start if I finish the previous two books)

Last time I set up a little theme for me. I used the readathon-week to finish the books I had left unread at some point and it felt really good to pick them up again and bring them to an end. Mostly I was positively surprised about how much I liked them in the end.
I am a bit of a chicken and sometimes stop reading once I fear that a character I love is about to die or seriously hurt (emotionally). So maybe I will do that again during this readathon (still have enough unfinished reading material... ;-) ).

Finish Nineteen minutes by Jodi Picoult I'm on page 286 out of 455
Start and Finish Small town Christmas by Debbie Macomber 384 pages
Start and Finish The Christmas Shoppe by Melody Carlson 168 pages

The Time Keeper 19%

I didn't notice that 19% on both! too funny.
