Writing Help-Group For Everyone discussion

Here muah will be posting chalenges (writing ones DUH) and... i'll be answering them too XD and i will get julius and phoebe to read em and say stuff XD cause i suck at critisism and reading others stuff and telling em if its good or not.

Anyways.

here is the first challenge:

Stage 1

write a sypnosis and/or come and with an idea of a story depending on what you came up with from this title:

Suddenly Its Magic

my idea:

There is this boarding school in a forest somewhere (XD). Three kids/teens (16/17?? maybe 15) go exploring one day and find a mysterious hallway (btw, its in an old castle XD yes like hogwarts) ((anyways)) in this hallway there is one door that looks old and has a ghevay pad lock on it. On teh door (this part just came up with XD) there is writing. Its says: 'Only those with the strongest of hearts and truest? of mind can go through this door nad return. And only one is destined for the power that is held within.'
When the lead boy (named Luke of course!! XD) touches the lock it rots away and lands on the flood with a bang. They go through teh door adn find themselves ina parrallel universe. They find themselves inside a school very muych like the one they just left... only they soon find out that the students aren't ordinary... they have powers.... and in this parrallel dimension (idk what else to call it XD) there are creatures, dangers and mysteryious conspiracys.
They pretend (the three boys) to be one with the other students... which is hard when non of them have powers. So the two (not Luke) go off on a quest to find potions or w.e to give em power and it turns out to give them dark magic adbn evil thoughts adn stuff.....and Luke has to fight em......


ok, fine, that sucked. the last part i came up on the spot, the story i came up with when i read the title.

2) see if there are anythings you think should be added or taken away
3) give me ideas

the above 4 things are what you do as readers of my little thingy. i got writer's block at the last part so i was like ugh.....

XD lol ok i was just bored felt like makeing something like this lol jks i was looking through wallparpers adn one said 'suddenly its magic' and a few minutes later i got an idea!! XD

..I'm going to have to Criticise this soon. Once I get past the 10000-Too-Many SMILIE FACES. T-T

Well, now that I've had time to review your tale, you might wish to do something about the spelling errors therein. Also, as Pheeb said, try and quell all the XD's dotted throughout. And as for the meat of the tale itself, it's an okay synopsis, but one that will need hammering out if you intend to run it through as a story.
