M OMG ITS BEEN about 3 months since I finished the Dark Duet and nothing I tell you absolutely NOTHING compares to this book!! Cannot wait for Agent Reed's story next by CJ Roberts

Bren I agree...I have had close calls. But nothing and I mean nothing has been able to to completely fill the whole made after I finished this series. This had been hard to follow...

Shanice totally agree this duet had me in an emotional turmoil! especially the second book. the total twists and spins had me in a frenzy

Jh Port I have heard Abduction by Varian Krylovis a good read too? Has anyone read it?

Caroline This book is amazing... I hear songs in the car on the radio which remind me of this book. I can't get it out of my head. C.J. is an amazing writer and the imagery is unbelieveable.

DeborahJean I read (or more accurately, almost read, I got to 96%) Varian Krylovis' Abduction. This was one screwed up story (and not in a good way like the Dark Duet). I don't think that I've ever gotten that far in a book and literally couldn't force myself to finish it.

You should try the original sinners series by Tiffany Reisz The Siren (The Original Sinners, #1) by Tiffany Reisz The Angel (The Original Sinners, #2) by Tiffany Reisz The Prince (The Original Sinners, #3) by Tiffany Reisz Seven Day Loan (The Original Sinners, #0.5) by Tiffany Reisz It is very gritty with a lot of plots twists. Her writing is very crisp.

Melodie This book was so disturbing and so intense ! Caleb and livvie had one of the most dysfuntional relationship (if you can even call it a relationship) ever ! Reading their story was like ridding à roller coaster ! Still ... It's probably one of the best book ever ! I loved it so much !

Jose Even though i would never tell my fiends i read this (I would never hear the end of it) i have to say this book was GREAT. Without a doubt one of my top favorite books... Now i just hope my girl won't mind playing Livvie :)

Nicki Rae M wrote: "OMG ITS BEEN about 3 months since I finished the Dark Duet and nothing I tell you absolutely NOTHING compares to this book!! Cannot wait for Agent Reed's story next by CJ Roberts", Did you know that there is a third book about Caleb and Livvie coming out? CAN NOT WAIT!!!

Whitney I didn't really like the story line. It was weird. I don't think I would ever fall in love with my captor. Like I don't care how miserable my life was. It's just another Fifty Shades of Grey for me.

Ashley I don't know...but I just couldn't get into it.

I agree. Very good written books and different!

BookHeroin true i agree with you , this series was so real and amazing... just perfect

~IreneOust~ I wouldn't say it's the best book ever written but it was good. I found it slow at first and it took me a while to get into it but I enjoyed the second book and really looking forward to Caleb's book.

Tanya Calebs's coming out with a book?????

I loved this series from start to finish, The characters really pulled me in.....

Megan These two books were great. Really enjoyed them. Can't wait for the next (Caleb's p.o.v) and then Agent Reed's story. I hope he gets lots of spankings!

~IreneOust~ Yes, I too am looking forward to Agent Reed's story.

Jh Port Just finished reading an awesome books peeps that has a dark and twisted character (that somewhat redeems himself) similar to Caleb.

I Highly recommend it Sinister Kisses.

Have just started it's sequel and am looking forward to reading it just as much :) Bound by Vengeance.

LAKristy Comfort Food by Kitty Thomas isn't a series, but does have the creepy, sexy, stockholm-syndrome abduction theme. It's the closest I've read. You'll think about this one for a long time after you've finished, just like the Captive series.

Kalanisi I cannot say just how much I loved this series.. It's absolutely amazing.. Definitely one of my top favourites.

~IreneOust~ After having read all 3, I must say Seduced in the Dark (book 2 of this "trilogy") was the best book [to me]. Epilogue was very disappointing :(

Nikki Irene, Why didn't you like Epilogue? I loved Calebs POV. He's so adorably nasty.

~IreneOust~ Nikki wrote: "Irene, Why didn't you like Epilogue? I loved Calebs POV. He's so adorably nasty."

I just thought it was "too much", know what I mean? I actually enjoyed the epilogue at the end of Epilogue and thought it would have been sufficient if we just got that at the end of Seduced in the Dark. I kind of came to my own conclusion and invisioned what their life would be like once they found each other and really didn't need to see Caleb trying to interact with Livvie's friends to get it. I mean to each their own but I just thought it was a very poor follow up to Seduced in the Dark which, IMO, was a great book.

Nikki I loved them all. But I loved Epilogue the bost. His funny thoughts had me LOL. His thoughts on her fuzzy throw pillows!!! CLASSIC!! or when he said "I had reservations at another restaurant."

~IreneOust~ Nikki, I get it but it just ruined [for me] the bad-ass Caleb that I fell in love with in the duet series big time. Some things just better left unsaid ... LOL!

Nikki Ha. You right. In epilogue he reminded me of drew in tangled and I loved tangled. He did have some dark moments like when he was dreaming and would tell her friends off....it was so funny when he would say its my dream leave me alone. I have so many great one liners from him. Or when he wanted to "take her in the car" and he said I didn't think she would appreciate it as much as I would. So funny.

Karin I wasn't sure what to expect with this

book when I read the description but finally broke down and bought it, I was so glad I did. This series was absolutely amazing. I have never been so drawn to a storyline-

Nicki Rae This series as a whole was pretty amazing; there isn't much more to say about it! The only thing I will say about Epilogue is that it was lacking somewhere. It was great to see a different side of both Caleb/James and Livvie/Sophia, but it was so different from the other two books (and what I was expecting, frankly) that just wasn't real sure how I felt about it.

Karin Nicki wrote: "This series as a whole was pretty amazing; there isn't much more to say about it! The only thing I will say about Epilogue is that it was lacking somewhere. It was great to see a different side of ..." I felt exactly the same way about epilogue. I did like the storyline but it was such a departure from the first two books that it felt like i wasn't really reading about the same two people- for me it was almost too much of a drastic turn from the first two books - I still enjoyed it.

Vashni I am also a Captive in the Dark fan, the story was so different and Caleb didnt dissapoint as an "alpha" male, I hate it when they go all sloppy and weak but I loved Caleb throughout the story :) would def reccommend it altho its not for the "faint hearted".

Bianca I agree with you, could not have said it better!!

Bianca One of my most favorites!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hannah Oh God. I'm struggling to find a book as amazing as this one. I absolutely love Caleb and Livvie!!!!!!!!!!

Mariana No it's not.

Mariana Mi wrote: "Karin wrote: "Mariana wrote: "No it's not."i totally disagree with you."
Exactly"

If you agree, why did you rate it one star??

Kelli Jean While I found Seduced enjoyable, I thought Captive could've been much better. I thought the beginning was a bit weak, but it progressed into something I came to love. Especially the character of Caleb. Livvie tended to get on my nerves with her incessant weeping. Overall, I can't say it's my favorite by any means, but I did enjoy it, and I'm reading Epilogue now. I'm just hoping its not going to be an overkill.

Between the Lines I would love to see this trilogy played out on the big screen...

Sara Nor I've read captive in the dark , and it was a very dark read for my taste but i liked it anyway.the starting of book 2 was a little confusing and that didn't help encouraging me to finish it, though i regret it very match because i am sure the book was about to get good but that looked a very long read and patience is not one of my traits.

Kureiji There will be no moving on for me with regards to this book. Definitely, one of the best book ever written. I just can't move on from the exhilarating, hearth-breaking, total mind fucked experience I had from reading this series. No one can ever come close to Dark Duet EVER!!!
