This is my third time re-reading this book (I got the ebook version through the Digital Media Zone at dmz.hmcpl.org), and I have loved it each time. Foer is your average OK-memory guy who sometimes forgets where he leaves his keys, but he's encourage to become a part of the U.S. memory circuit -- and eventually becomes the U.S. champion at speed cards.
Along the way, we learn about memory techniques (although the book is not a how-to), other competitors, the history of memorization, and implications for the future.
As always, I finished with inspiration to undertake my own memory training. Now I just have to conquer procrastination.
