Kris (My Novelesque Life) (mynovelesquelife) It is a crisp November afternoon here in Vancouver, British Columbia (Canada)and I am enjoying some green tea to keep cozy...What is your favourite hot beverage?

message 2: by Jonetta (new)

Jonetta (ejaygirl) While I love coffee and drink it just about everyday, I also love a vanilla latte every once in awhile.

message 3: by Tracy (new)

Tracy (notrace) I am also from the Greater Vancouver area. I have recently started drinking Chai tea and it is coming in at a close second to coffee. I had a pumpkin spice latte the other day at Starbucks and it was a very yummy treat!

message 4: by Quynh (new)

Quynh (quynh_o) Hello fellow Canadians. An Albertan here so I guess that makes us neighbors? Lol. I usually go for the fail proof hot chocolate but also love coffee and chai tea lattes.

Lady ♥ Belleza (bella_foxx) My favorite hot beverage is tea. I prefer black tea, right now I am hooked on Queen Catherine which is a Chinese black breakfast tea (don't ask me why a Chinese tea is named after a Russian queen). I also like Chocolate Mint tea.

In non-black tea I like Winter White Earl Grey and Matcha tea (Japanese green tea) but I only get that at the tea salon because I don't know how to make it.

message 6: by Jaret (new)

Jaret My favorite hot drink is any sort of tea at all. But coffee comes in a very close second place.

Mary | 100 comments Well, girls as I live at the other side of the Atlantic and now in Greece we have around 13oC,which is quite a low temperature for us down here, right now I'm enjoying a hot cup of extra hot sweet chocolate, while reading a book on my pc...:) I'm really not the tea type, so it's either coffee or chocolate for me.

message 8: by Julie (new)

Julie (gpangel) In cold weather I like hot cocoa the best.

message 9: by Jean (new)

Jean (otakumom) Coffee. I'm addicted to the dark brew and love it with sugar and half and half especially on a cold day wrapping my hands around the nice warm mug.

I love tea too but like the black tea variety or the smokey varieties like Russian Caravan, Lapsang Souchung or Oolong but it makes me itchy after drinking it. :(

message 10: by Ila (new)

Ila I love drinking coffee, it makes me feel human in the mornings, although right now in the cold autumnal weather I love sipping on mulled cider or apple spice flavoured tea :)

message 11: by Jonetta (new)

Jonetta (ejaygirl) Oh how I love hot cider! You've just given me an idea for tonight:)

message 12: by Tracey (new)

Tracey (trakka) Tea! Until I had my youngest 2 years and 9 months ago I hated tea and was an avid coffee drinker. Once my little girl was born the midwife offered me tea and toast and I was so hungry and thirsty I said yes and have drunk it ever since and no more coffee for me....

Kris (My Novelesque Life) (mynovelesquelife) I am a fan of hot beverages. I love my early morning coffee and then green tea for the rest of the day. I also like hot chocolate but try not to drink it too often. I'm going to stop now before I really do go on lol.

Sounds like an allergic reaction. :(

message 15: by Monica (new)

Monica | 17 comments I love hot chocolate, and make it almost every morning and evening during the cold months. But I recently discovered this extra delicious caramel hot cider recipe and my family devours it every Sunday night.

message 16: by Liz (Bugetta) (new)

Liz (Bugetta) (bugetta) | 32 comments I'm a coffee drinker all the way. I am dairy free these days (stupid lactose intolerance), so I usually have it with coconut milk creamer. I'm also a big fan of a latte, but only when they're made by someone who knows what they're doing. I recently discovered almond milk lattes and they are divine. I will also drink tea on occasion, usually Earl Grey.

Kris (My Novelesque Life) (mynovelesquelife) Time for another trip to the coffee shop :)

Deborah O'Regan | 17 comments My favorite is Earl Grey black no milk no sugar. Best tea in the world to start the day with imo..... And yes Tracy the best cup of tea and toast is after you had a baby there is nothing like it!!!

message 22: by Barbara (new)

Barbara | 26 comments Tea! I love all kinds of hot tea.

Kris (My Novelesque Life) (mynovelesquelife) Barbara wrote: "Tea! I love all kinds of hot tea."

Yay! I will try anything but hot fruit-flavour teas.

message 24: by Susan (new)

Susan | 45 comments LOVE my morning coffee with HOT CHOC in it! Maybe a little cream and sugar - so I like a LITTLE coffee with all my other stuff! LOL

Hot cider
easy recipe - crock pot
apple cider ( not apple juice )
orange slices
cinnamon (sticks to float) and 1-2 tablespoons of powder
clove flowerettes (as many as you want)
brandy to taste

cook it all day - drink when you get home!

message 25: by Jonetta (new)

Jonetta (ejaygirl) Thanks for this, Ark! I'm going to try it.

it's just me! (iamforgiven) | 3 comments My favorite would have to be hot chocolate with LOTS of marshmallows. I've never liked coffee, can't acquire a taste for it.

Agreed. If caffine didn't make me so jittery I'd drink them all day.
